SaintJean Port Joli is a beautiful little town on the gulf...
SaintJean Port Joli is a beautiful little town on the gulf of the St. Lawrence River. Everyone we encountered during our stay were very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our little dog and were able to eat at a number of places allowing dogs on the patios. Most things are a bit pricey but hey, your on holiday so enjoy. Our only complaint would be that all of the information boards at tourist sites and menus are in French only but that is everywhere in Quebec. Short walk to nice parks & 2 restaurants overlooking the St Lawrence River, very pretty area.
