The comfort level was very high; the village was delightful for a stroll; the restaurant we found "Cafe Coureuse de Greve" was very special--we enjoyed the ambience, the food and the service.
Beautiful parks/harbour views/historic bldgs -easy to explore on foot-great restaurants/bakery/shops-quirky little parks..artistic vibrant to community( from painted buildings to sculptures to microbrewery)

SaintJean Port Joli is a beautiful little town on the gulf of the St. Lawrence River. Everyone we encountered during our stay were very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our little dog and were able to eat at a number of places allowing dogs on the patios.
Most things are a bit pricey but hey, your on holiday so enjoy.
Our only complaint would be that all of the information boards at tourist sites and menus are in French only but that is everywhere in Quebec.
We will be returning to this quaint little town.

Saint Jean Port Joli is a nice village. Short walk to nice parks & 2 restaurants overlooking the St Lawrence River, very pretty area. We liked being able to charge our electric car at the hotel overnight for no extra charge.

The location is great, and free parking in the Main Street. No breakfast in the hotel but the coffee shop « Bonté Divine » on the chemin du Roy is the place for a good cappuccino and croissant.
