Set in Stratford, near Studio Theatre, Avon Theater and Tom Patterson Theatre, Hatfield House on Hibernia features a garden. Wonderful place to stay in Stratford, Ontario. Host came out to meet me before I even parked. Very nice people. Food was exceptionally good. Easy walking distance to all theaters and commercial area. Pleasant places to sit outdoors. I stayed 2 nights and it was a treat to be there.
Located in downtown Stratford, Edison's Cafe Bar & Inn is a renovated 1840’s building. Guests of the Inn receive daily coupons which can be used at the on-site cafe. The accommodation was perfectly located with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants at your doorstep or within a short walk. The room was beautifully decorated and you can tell a lot of attention went into detail. It was immaculately cleaned and super cosy and comfortable. Bruce was super friendly and helpful. He even has a daily tour that he offers with lots to see and do in and around the area. I would highly recommend staying here and also using Bruce's tour service if you want an even deeper experience of Stratford and it's history and culture.

She was a delight. Very helpful, conscientious, kind, caring. The place was absolutely beautiful. Everything is new and SPARKLING CLEAN. It is a very comfortable apartment with a great location. We loved the extra touch, a bottle of wine. The whole house is tastefully decorated. It was a pleasure staying there.

The Stratford Festival put on amazing productions and for this stay that was no different. Walking in downtown Stratford is great, lots of little shops, all of the locals are extremely helpful and friendly.
A beautiful place. We travelled to see the festival which never disappoints. Be sure to make reservations for restaurants. Unfortunately all shops close early on Tuesdays. Would have liked to shop in the boutiques, but instead took a lovely stroll around town.
Many lovely shops were open , the sidewalks were kept fairly clear- off season , so I expected it to be quieter. A few restaurants were closed Sun- Wed in the winter, and others were closed for the March break, so not as many culinary adventures Sirkel was an amazing lunch stop hit, loved the Edison’s cafe vegan offerings
We arrived at Dufferin Arena to enjoy public skating but was told their website info was wrong. Govt is useless......everywhere! Went to the movies. Nice, quaint theater. Nice experience. Bizarre observation that several movie goers take up two parking spaces to protect their cars. Verý arrogant and prideful. Barely got a parking spot at the movies. Someone should tocket thsse idiots.
Stratford is a very progressive little town, with tons of small industry to provide meaningful jobs to locals, plus the Stratford Theater (by far, the largest employer). Excellent restaurants for breakfast-lunch or dinner. Nice motels varying in price range. A few strip malls, but still a patch downtown with parking right in front of small local shops (a sign that the town was smart enough to avoid the economy-eating ‘malls’ on the outskirts.)
The town is beautiful. We saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was great and we are looking forward to the Little Shop of Horrors. We enjoyed hanging around Stratford for a couple hours Saturday morning and wished we had a lot more time. Will you plan to return in the spring to taking a play and enjoy some bicycling.

My daughter and I go to Stratford every year and this was the first time we have stayed here. We were pleasantly surprised. Our attitude is that the place we stay in is used for sleeping. Of all the hotels/motels we have stayed at, the beds were VERY comfortable - the best yet! Very important to us who have back issues. The room was spacious and very clean as well. Will definitely come back!!!

We have stayed at the Suburban before, which was why we didn’t hesitate to go back. It’s well hidden in a stand of trees, about 6 minutes out of the town of Stratford. The rooms are spacious and a sliding door at the far end offers a pastoral view of neighbouring farmland. The room was clean and equipped with a fridge, Keurig coffee maker and a clean bright bathroom.

Christine and Rick were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. Their house and property is very charming and comfortable. The room was so cute and clean. Breakfast was lovely and elegant and food was delicious and plentiful. Definitely would recommend Hatfield House as a wonderful choice for a Bed and Breakfast in Stratford. Lesley and Laura.

Location - situated on the heart of Stratford making it easily accessible to restaurants/shops. Everything was walking distance away. Style - love the design/decor of the room. Appreciated all little details in the design/decor. Bruce from the Edison was very nice and thoughtful and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.

Place is vert friendly though dated. Location is very good. While parking is almost non-existent, staff were helpful in directing us to free lot. Hotel locks door at 8 PM but tyhey gave us a key for outside door. Restaurant meals are below better Stratford restaurants but so too is the price.

The Magnolia House is situated in a lovely old house that is a 10 minute walk-from downtown Stratford. The house has been updated so the electrical and bathrooms are modern. The host is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The wifi is the best I have encountered.

The location was perfect for walking downtown and attending the Avon and Studio Theatres. It was peaceful with beautiful gardens. The owner was most welcoming and carried our bags up to our room. The room was immaculate and the breakfast offered a variety suitable for all tastes and needs. There was plenty of parking and the kind owner allowed us to stay there after checking out so that we could attend the afternoon performance at the theatre.
