The location is pretty good, very quiet. The sunset view towards Lake Huron will be enjoyable and sky gazing during the night is pretty good. Firepit made the late fall even better. The cottage is spacious for a family or couple. The owner replied messages quickly, helping us a lot.

My husband and I loved this place. We were lucky to be the very first guests, and we can confidently say it’s in a great location, with a beautiful view from the balcony. It’s peaceful and surrounded by the lake. Less than a one-minute walk to the back of the house gives you access to the lake, lounge chairs, and a stunning view (including the sunrise if you're an early bird). Walking less than two minutes in the opposite direction gives you the best view of the sunset. Inside, the bedroom is splendid and super comfortable—we couldn’t have slept better. The small kitchen has everything you need to prepare snacks or meals to get through the day and save money. We even found vanilla for our coffee, and the coffee machine was excellent! The bathroom is spotless and fully equipped, including moisturizing creams, bug spray, and toothbrushes with toothpaste. Jodean, the host, was always kind and available, ready to help and offer advice whenever needed. And the breakfasts were delicious! Jodean gave us multiple options in advance, which we really appreciated—it wasn’t limited to the typical "American breakfast.". The most outstanding part was the decor—including Jodean’s beautiful paintings—and how thoughtfully everything was arranged. Words probably fall short in describing the wonderful experience we had, but if we had to sum it up: beautiful and cozy! Tobermory Tides is absolutely recommended. I would return without hesitation.

Beautiful location. Quaint cottage with lots of privacy. Comfy beds and clean on the interior. Lovely package of local goodies left on table for us - wine, coffee and chocolates which were delicious and a nice touch.

I don't recommend to visit Tobermory( 3to 4 hours drive),...

I don't recommend to visit Tobermory( 3to 4 hours drive), big issue is food and very very expensive. Quality is no good, I tried fish and chips almost $ 23 each meal( 2 different restaurants) and waste of money. My stay at Motel Big tub is great but they don't have breakfast and no restaurants close by. There is no food chains like Tim's, McDonald's, Wendy's and no gas stations...you will find them after 60km. Everything is over charged. Hard to find washroom as well. Local coffee shops are just ok. A boat tour per person $75 too expensive and not much worth it. It is my first experience to Tobermory Sorry I have to be honest . Thank you

Hosts were very helpful when we ran into some difficulty with regards to receiving the access code to the cottage. The cottage is exactly like the photos on your site, maybe more spectacular! This is our 10th visit to the Bruce Peninsula over the years and we never tire as each visit is a new journey, something different that we find.

The boat trip with Blue Anchor to the wrecks and Flowerpot Island. The restaurants were better than we expected. The staff in all shops and restaurants were exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful

It's a very beautiful place.

It's a very beautiful place. One has to be physically fit to thoroughly enjoy the scenic trails , however it's not a foodies place. There are no decent restaurants. Everything food related or shops were just ok. The boat tours or the natural scenery were exquisite. Cottaging is better as atleast you can cook your own food and have a good waterfront to your self. The Indian restaurant was dirty and the food was pathetic...atleast that was our experience.

Just beautiful, calm! Loved it!

Just beautiful, calm! Loved it! Great place to be if you like hiking! Went to Flower Pot Island, Halfway Log Dump Remember during summer, you need to reserve parking spot to the National Park to see Grotto or other place at the park.

Tobermory is a beautiful getaway spot with plenty to explore. We went on the cruise to Flowerpot Island, it was an amazing experience, and the cruise staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The island itself is stunning and definitely worth the visit. We also hiked to the Grotto and absolutely loved the crystal-clear water and scenic views. Getting around Tobermory is fairly easy if you plan ahead, and parking near the main attractions is manageable. For young couples, the boat tours, hiking trails, and peaceful nature spots make for a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it!

The location out on the lake was beautiful and the room very clean quiet and large. The local town Tobermory was walking distance and was quaint and the locals friendly. Bruce peninsular national park is all around you and there are some beautiful hiking trails to go on as well as the visitors centre that was defiantly worth a visit. We had an amazing time.

It was great accomodation for the price of the stay. The hotel wasnt too far from the main area of Tobermory, only a 5 minute walk will get you there and do not have to contend with parking. The room exceeded my expectations. The free wifi was more than fast enough to keep my daughter entertained when we are in the room. The bed was comfortable and clean.
