The location was great since it was in town where we can easily walk around the harbor. The rooms were cute and the furniture were well-positioned. The motel facilities had large tables so we can get take out food and eat together at the motel. The tea and coffee were complimentary. There was lots of parking at the motel.

Breathtaking views of the Georgian Bay. The Grotto is a must; The cruise was cancelled because of inclement weather. Plan to revisit next year as I learned belatedly that the cruises tend to get canceled during the fall season.

The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful.
The grotto and Flower Pot Island were so beautiful.
The snorkelling was fantastic.
When you go to Flower Pot Island bring food, drinks and a bathing suit. The swimming is awesome!
The parking has to be booked in advance (which we did). You need to read the fine print though. You must be at the lot within the first two hours of your reservation or you forfeit your spot. If you need to cancel a reservation, it must be done two days in advance.

1. It is impossible to reach you by phone. I tried several times and left messages - no reply. The only people that answer are the ones attending the boat cruses. They transfer the phone to you without avail.
2. The building we stayed in made an annoying noise all night long. Was hard to sleep. We asked others and they experienced the same annoying noise,
3. The room had no AC. We kept the windows in the back and front open to get a draft. It finally cooled down at about 2AM.
4. You asked about breakfast in the survey we filled out. Were we entitled for that breakfast, and if where was it?

Small village on a lake. Not many shops and restaurants. Not much choice of food and if your hotel is not offering breakfast then you will need to find a suitable restaurant which opens in the morning becAuse not all places are open at 8am. Quiet and clean. Good for walks.

The panoramic scene of the sparkling blue waters stretching out into the horizon was simply breathtaking. The gentle waves crashing against the shore created a soothing symphony, inviting a sense of calm and tranquility.

Cute village. Wonderful place for divers.
Cute village. Wonderful place for divers.
Must go to flower pot island, the Groto and visit the lighthouse.
Beautiful clear blue waters. Lots of opportunities for hikes in the areas but must be prepared to wear proper shoes if going on the Bruce trail.
We visited Bruce Anchor motel on Oct. 9th 2022. We received many info about the motel, Tobermory through Booking chat service. The motel even hinted the restaurants will be closed at 8pm so we ate on the way. That hint from the motel saved us from going to bed on a empty stomach!!! They even messaged to see if we're okay because we arrived late. It's way above than a motel but below a 5 star hotel. I'd compare it to 3 star hotels worldwide. The rooms were clean and the staff were nice and friendly.
Great location - close to Tobermory city center and hiking trails while in a secluded natural space. Fire pit and view were awesome. We appreciated the availability of AC and WiFi. It’s pretty new, full kitchen. Bathroom was clean.
We had an issue with the toilet, but property manager was available during the night of the long weekend (Civic day). She resolved our problem in a timely and professional manner.
It was a perfectly fine place to spend a night on our tour through the Bruce Peninsula. Very close to Tobermory and the Park Visitor Centre, but a lot less expensive than the places in town! Restaurant was a great add on (we didn't eat there), but a larger array of continental breakfast items would have been nice: Toast/bagels, jam and jelly, muffins, fruit.
Overall, satisfactory - I would stay again.
We just came back from Tobermory, where we spent a wonderful weekend staying in Grandview Motel with our family and friends! This place is perfect: great location, rooms are clean, beds and pillows are comfortable. The view is absolutely gorgeous! Friendly staff, tea/coffee and hot water available 24/7 near the office.
We enjoyed the patio with BBQ, watching sunset and cooking our dinner.
It was good for the price we (me and my two kids) just stayed in there for one night. No problems to checking or checkout (they leave a lockbox with the keys in and your just self checking by typing the code), the room was clean and comfortable, we got an upgrade for a front lake view, the hotel is still under renovations but it was not a problem for us. Overall a good experience.
Reception was helpful. The room was well appointed with comfortable beds, spacious room and good facilities. It was good to have a microwave and refrigerator and a table to sit at for breakfast. Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, there are good facilities in the room to enable you to fix your own.
Location of the cottage is very awesome. close to all attractions of Tobermory. The house was super clean and host is very active and response right away. Will definitely come again to this cottage. Will recommend to my friends and family
Perfect location in tobermory. Not to far from the crowds that you can't go for a walk but far enough away that it's peaceful sitting either on the deck overlooking the water or on the shoreline right in front of the hotel.
The location is wonderful. The front desk is super friendly and patiently answered all my questions. Highly recommended if you are taking the ferry the next morning or just visiting the town of Tobermory.
The location was nice and close to the harbour. The villa was adequate in size and had some nice amenities, minus the bathroom.
Tobermory is a must visit place for anyone. The location is beautiful.
The location was perfect. The hotel feels like a cottage at it is right on the water. It is located within walking distance to the famous light house. Highly recommend staying here.
