It was a great hotel, very clean and met my expectations. The lady at the front desk and the staff wee very helpful and courteous. It was in a quiet area near the main highway. One of the better places I have stayed in for quite some time. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I loved the rustic, cozy aesthetic of the suite! Janna put her personal touch everywhere with her handmade pottery-from the bird accents, to the tiles in the shower, the backsplash in the kitchenette, the bathroom sink! I loved the earthy colors, the linen bedding and curtains. The property was quiet and peaceful. My husband enjoyed stoking the outdoor fire pit, while I talked to the happy, adorable chickens that wander freely. The room has a flat screen tv( which we didn’t use) that came with a large selection of dvds..also on the shelf, a bunch of books. Every aspect of our stay was well thought out. Janna came to greet us on our first day, and she’s a lovely host- even offered us a lentil dish she’d made if restaurants were closed due to Easter weekend- but we had plans to hit up Wellington which is a 20 min drive. We love brunches at the Good Place and we had pub grub at the Midtown Brewery.. the atmosphere at both places are wonderful.

    My dad was stationed here in the '60s.

    My dad was stationed here in the '60s. Know the area well and have been back multi times. Nice city, and the surrounding area has lots to see and do. Great drives along the Trent River/canal system, provincial parks, etc. Lots of scenic spots and history in the area. Let your vehicle take you in and direction and you'd be surprised at what you'll find.

    Trenton is a military base, yet what we saw was kind of...

    Trenton is a military base, yet what we saw was kind of rundown . There were really nice waterfront parks. There was no real downtown. Most businesses looked shabby. Aside from fast food places, there was no reasonably priced place to have dinner after 6 pm on a Sunday. Lots of Cannabis shops, payday loan places, tattoo parlours if that is your thing. We were diasappointed that the RCAF Museum was closed on the Sunday we were there. You can get to Prince Edward County and enjoy wine tours very quickly.

    The location of the room had some problems being located...

    The location of the room had some problems being located right next to the fire door at the end of the hallway. So, we had to listen to the fire door banging every time someone went through. We reported it to the staff on duty but we understood it would have been impossible to have a staff member there every time a client went downstairs. We used ear plugs and got a fair sleep both nights. We would suggest finding a way to dampen the sound with bumpers or something to decrease the noise. We also noticed that the phone didn't work, so the staff replaced it. We were not able to watch movies because the staff said they were 'looking into it' to have the cable fixed. Otherwise the experience was good. Breakfast had a lot of options including our favourite: waffles! We would recommend this location to others looking for a great place to stay overnight. We ate at Golden Valley for lunch with our friends and enjoyed the meal.

    Thought I knew what to expect, but the dining scene has improved significantly since my last visit. There’s a beautiful riverside patio at Tomasso’s/Jim’s Pizzeria. Jim’s has always had the best pizza, but now you can get fine dining options as well, and a lovely view to boot.

    We didn't care for the hotel we stayed in (Ramada Inn)...

    We didn't care for the hotel we stayed in (Ramada Inn) however, we went to the RCAF museum the following morning. It was a wonderful experience and we appreciated how the volunteers have made such a great effort to take care of the museum and the displays.

    Our trip was to get away so contractors could work on...

    Our trip was to get away so contractors could work on bedrooms. … We did really like Trenton, a very nice little town. Ordered from Tomasso’s, very very good Italian food. And breakfast at Dapps on Dundas was also very good. We will be back in a more vacation setting.

Very poor breakfast selection., certainly not up to other Travelodge presentations.completely empty of food at 930 when it was stated until 10am ...you should take your name off this location

    Only place available in the area. I can see why. There must have been a big event in Trenton as all the other hotels and B&B places were fully booked. However, the bed was extremely comfortable.
