Big rooms, comfy, very clean and great amenities! Breakfast was yummy as well. Can't complain about anything anything but a very full parking lot, eventually found a spot though

The room was very clean, and the temperature was perfect. We had a contactless check-in and check-out which was great since we arrived at 10pm and left a couple days later at 6 am. Plenty of parking and the location was perfect. Just off the highway and really close to restaurants, fast food etc. WiFi, hot water and water pressure were great. Comfortable beds and they had plenty of extra blankets in the room if needed

The owners personally welcomed us, very friendly. The room was spotless and had nice furnishings. Posted rules set the tone that we could expect a quiet motel and that the rules would be enforced. Would stay again.

    Truro is a charming town.

    Truro is a charming town. It was just what we liked, the pace was relaxed and we had access to all the amenities we needed. We dined at the N & C. Which we enjoyed very much. It was so lovely taking a morning walk in Victoria park which is close to Abide Within B&B where we stayed upon arrival and departure to Truro. Excellent service and great ambiance. Our overall experience was excellent. Thank you!

    Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away...

    Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away) and walk on the ocean floor during low tide. We went to Captain Murphy's for dinner - staff was great and food was good. Fish was well cooked. It was raining most of the time we were there so we didn't tour the town much

    The fact that we could walk to a restaurant not far from the Inn rather than drive was great. It was a perfect walking distance. Wait staff were pleasant and lobster rolls were the best we have ever had. The cheesecake we had was delicious. The Nook and Cranny had the option to eat in or on the patio. Lovely evening so we opted to sit out.This morning had a great walk in Victoria Park and the people who work there were polite and friendly.

    We flew from Calgary to Halifax then drove to Truro for one...

    We flew from Calgary to Halifax then drove to Truro for one night before departing early the next morning for our destination in New Brunswick. Truro was a convenient overnight stop. We did not spend time much time in Truro.

    This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors!

    This accommodation has so many heavy locked doors! I didn't feel like being in a motel, I felt like being in a clean dungeon without a fridge or a kitchen to have some hot water or warm up a food.... I don't recommend it to anyone!

    Truro's Victoria Park is a wonderful place.

    Truro's Victoria Park is a wonderful place. The town has great restaurants and is easy to navigate. The people are friendly and helpful. The roads could use a little work on them. Thai Express and Mezza where good for tasty fast food. The British Cafe was great with very friendly staff and you could take your dog to the outdoor patio.
