Chatty, pleasant and welcoming. Plenty of advice of where to see/eat/etc in Annapolis Royal and further afield. Very nice decor. Breakfast amazing as long as you're not trying to limit your calories (German-style French toast with butter syrup...)!

Great place to stay, lots of very interesting history. The owners of the property were very helpful and gave us a lot of information. Pride of ownership is very noticeable. Very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious!

A retro motel with modern facilities. Super comfortable bed, excellent AC, very clean, with a nice bathtub. The saltwater pool is a nice temperature. Breakfast is basic but a good self-serve selection. Lovely local artwork in the lobby and dining room, and welcoming staff.

The Harbourview Inn was in a great location, close to/between Digby and Annapolis for local sightseeing. The owners were very helpful and friendly and gave us a good introductory tour of the premises. Everything was clean and nicely arranged with a sitting room if desired and a good breakfast area. The breakfasts were fantastic, with a buffet of cold items (cereal/yoghurt etc) and also a different hot item every day (eggs benedict, bacon and eggs, etc). There is a local beach and also a swimming pool a short walk away from the Inn that is shared with other house owners in the sub-division, which was really nice. Beach fishing is available without a license. and it is nice to be able to take a short walk in the mornings/evening to the beach either side of touring the local attractions. We took a lobster fishing tour that was a good experience and others were taking whale watching and other tours, all from Digby area. Annapolis is nice with its old fort and battle site and is worth a trip.
