Located 1.2 miles from Woodstock Farm and Craft Market, this New Brunswick hotel offers an indoor pool, a sauna and billiards. All rooms include free Wi-Fi and a continental breakfast. Great accomodations for the money and the young man on the desk was very friendly.
Just a 3-minute walk from the city center of Woodstock, the year-round Stiles Motel offers free Wi-Fi throughout and an on-site restaurant serving Canadian and Indian cuisine. Very quiet part of town . private,, no noisy traffic close by . owner very kind ,personable . Will definitely book there again ..
Located in Otis, Big Ax Bed & Breakfast provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a restaurant, a bar and a garden. Beautiful spot on the Saint John's River! This place was clean, quaint and homey. It was a perfect place to stay for a weary traveler. The owners were hospitable and provided a great breakfast. I would definitely go back!
The Brookside Inn features free WiFi and views of mountain in Ludlow. There is a restaurant serving American cuisine, and free private parking is available. Very friendly owners, comfortable beds, peaceful slept well. The owners also operate the onsite restaurant, great menu, we arrived on a Friday, all the fish you can eat and chips on the side (fries). The restaurant is open till 8pm on Friday and 7pm the rest of the week, so plan when you intend to arrive.
It was a good place to stop after 8 hours in the car. Affordable night's stay with breakfast the next morning nearby at the Howard Johnson's Inn. About a 2 hour drive to get the St. John's Ferry to Nova Scotia.
I am not sure who is wrong but when I made my reservation with Woodstock with Booking .com said I was able to cancel my reservation. Because of a family problem I was charged for my 1 night stay. I want my money back.
Too big of a town for our taste. I can see McDonalds and Walmarts anywhere and everywhere. For us, we like small towns with their own character. Corporate America is the same as Corporate Canada or Corporate anywhere.....without heart ....without individuality and soul.
We travel to Woodstock every year to visit relatives. Our ancestors were actually the first people in the area having been given land on which Woodstock is founded by King George III after the US Revolutionary War. The people are very friendly and the scenery is beautiful. The Provincial Archives of New Brunswick in Fredericton is close and has a wealth of information on the history of New Brunswick.
Love Woodstock, but a lot of that has to do with the fact it is where a lot of my relatives live so majority of my time is spent with them and the main reason we travel to Woodstock for family gatherings whenever we can. Nice little town tho, great choice of places to eat (Murray's Restaurant at the Irvings are great), and of course has a few Tim Hortons too. Close to the US border for those who would like to venture across. Also close to the Hartland Bridge (longest covered bridge in the world). Very pretty along the river and good highways.
Did not stay. It was highly unacceptable. Run down building, dirty rooms, broken security lock, the comforter on the bed was stained, the carpet on the floor was worn and dirty. I wouldn't allow my dog in the room. This should not even be advertised.
