Dinner is a very "classic" Swiss experience with multi-course meals etc - a joy on its own. Great amenities and "family feeling" of the hotel. Convenient location for skiing. Very nice sauna - small but convenient.

The entire experience, from the reception at arrival to the check-out, was exceptional. Besides the high level of professionalism, the friendliness of the staff was remarkable. There was never a "no, we cannot do". Whatever wishes we had, they were met, even if we were late in asking for picknick packages or forgot to arrange juices for our hike, we just asked, and it was done.
The rooms were modern and very clean and cozy, lots of wood! You wake up to a spectacular view from the balcony to the mountain peaks!
The food quality was excellent. Since there are various restaurants near the hotel, we had the choice from simple Bratwurst with Rösti (fried sausage with potatoes) up to a five-course menue.
The leisure possibilities are abundant. We went mainly for hiking. The nature and the views are spectacular. (added some pictures of our hikes, the property itself looks really like on the pictures on their website )

I am totally biased for Arosa is filled with wonderful childhood memories. Now, being slightly handicapped, I still enjoyed it. The air, the calm on the hills, the views, the hikes, the food…. There is something for everyone and every age (says a great-grandma!😂). Take a horse cariage ride! Visit the museum! Visit the bears sanctuary! Walk up the squirrels way and let them and the birds get nuts out of your hands…

Cleanliness,well proportioned room with a fridge and lovely bathroom.Easy parking outside.There are no staff on site and the contact no was out of service.This is a self service hotel and is best viewed as a bed for the night or longer if you use the local cafes and eateries for your sustanance.
The hotel has alot of character with a games room and a bar .Being out of season it was very quite and the bar was not in use.I would go again the only issue I had was not being a tec head was getting into the hotel.You need to go to the link on your confirmation e mail to check in to get the access code and room no.Not always easy at journeys end and being awake for 28 hrs.

The town lacks a true center, but still offers plenty of Apres Ski and shops.
Go visit Yolanda and her daughter at the Arosa Shop for quality souveniers - we bought hoodies and T-Shirts for the entire family. They are friendly and fun! The sport shops are knowledgable and helpful.

Overall, Arosa is an excellent ski resort. Variety of slopes, very nice restaurants and bars on the slopes and in town, friendly people.

Beautiful ski resort, loved the free bus which went every 20 mins and took you to the top of the sledding slope and also the beginners ski slope so you didnt need lift / gondola passes for those. We didnt ski so cant comment on that but had great fun sledding and feeding squirrels on on the beautiful squirrel walk.

the best part about Arosa is the view and the mountain life. Hiking paths and nature are just perfect. Loved the attractions such as the Bear Centre and the Squirrle path.
Great Arosa Card for free when you stay at the hotels there to travel for free in all Arosa!
not so great restaurants - most of them were closed ..

The service we received at Hotel Stoffel was utterly fantastic. The staff are attentive, caring, hospitable, and make an effort to give you the best stay. The views of the mountains around the hotel are spectacular. Don’t miss the included breakfast, as it’s very good. The rooms are all you need. I would recommend you have dinner on at least one night in the hotel. The food and drink we had was utterly superb, and we had a wonderful evening. If ever we return to Arosa, we’ll be staying at Hotel Stoffel!

When booked this break, i emailed the hotel & asked if they could make it special for my partner as it was her birthday. They went over and above with this!! amazing staff, lovely caring warm attentive. people.
The breakfast room was so lovely. So well spaced out, great selection of breakfast food & drink, the attention to detail and the attentiveness of the staff was exceptional, i would highly recommend this hotel to all my friends & family.

The view from our room was spectacular and the main reason I returned the following weekend. The rooms are lovely and quiet. The staff are wonderful, especially the restaurant staff. The food and service was excellent. We loved the intimacy of this hotel. Small, but high quality.

The breakfast staff were very friendly, they make you eggs fresh. Shuttle van that take you directly to the ski lift, which is great since the hotel is down in the village which is pretty steep.
