All in all I with my family had an unforgettable experience and one of these days want to come back and visit again. Very nice location on its own, you are also very close to visit the Ballenberg open air museum, the Lungern area, Meiringen, Rosenlaui, Rothorn, St-Beatus Caves and take a boat ride on Lake Brienz. You are also close to Lauterbrunnen, Interlanken and Thun.

Brienz is easy to approach from interlaken by train or car.
Brienz is easy to approach from interlaken by train or car. Brienz lake view, cruise journey from Brienz to Iseltwald, interlaken was awesome. Brienz Rothorn train ride is amazing and unforgettable and the views of Brienz lake from top of mountains were Marvellous. I would suggest everyone who wants to explore Lautterbrunnen, Grindelwald, harder Kulm please come, stay and visit Brienz.

Nothing wrong with Brienz - beautiful lake and beautiful scenery all around. The hotel was comfortable but not very well located to allow us to walk through the actual town. The hotel is located at the entrance of the town, close to the camping grounds. Quite remote

We only stayed at Brienz for one night en route between other places that we were visiting. The area has a lot of character with lovely old buildings and is on the shore of one of the many big lakes. It was very quiet during our brief stay, being in the period between the summer and winter seasons for tourists. We had just one evening meal which was a very tasty pizza.

We didn’t spend any time there this time. The location is beautiful by the clear lakeside surrounded by mountains. Swiss railway transport is brilliantly efficient and comfortable. The train takes you all along the lake to Interlaken, a most picturesque journey.

Most restraunts are closed or offer toned down menu in off season, so check before going. We went in last week of March and found it difficult to find places to eat in Brienz area. We had to go to Interlaken most of them time.
The view is awsome.

Just wow, had an amazing time here. It was one of our best stay so far in Switzerland. Located just in front of the beautiful Brienz See, equipped with all the facilities one could wish for the longer stays. Martin has provided all the necessary information about nearby travel attractions. Had a comfortable and lovely time here. Pay Parking is available just in front of the apartments. We would definitely book it again. The location is perfect, all major attractions or towns are in vicinity.

Simply the best view you can ask for on top of being spacious, clean and comfortable. If you are by car and want to visit the Interlaken area I can highly recommend, the train station is also close by. My family and I really enjoyed our stay, very comfortable that the place is close to a super market and a pizzeria.

I have slept in several hotels in Brienz, and this place is the best value for money (and on the other hand, hotel Weisses Kreuz is not recommended…).
The staff was super nice, the view of the lake from the room is just fantastic, the room was simple and clean, and a good breakfast.

No doubt the view from the room was great. The room was nice with daily room service. Breakfast was good. We opted for dinner which was very great. It was very fresh and tasty. The walking route from the hotel to the main station was very good along lake brienz.
