Ok for skiing and mountain biking but not recommended for hiking (numerous paths closed, very steep, signage could be better, crossing paths with downhill mountain bikers too often). There are better options for hiking in Switzerland

Crans-Montana is summer-winter resort. We went for skiing. The views are amazing, the resort has skiing options for all the family but is not very big. Restaurants very cozy but expensive (well, it's Switzerland...). The town is very walkable, you can walk from crans to Montana or hike around the town.

Crans-Montana is a rather large mountain village in the french part of the swiss alps. It offers plenty of accomodation, restaurants, outdoor activities and more than one small lakes.
It is most known for hiking, biking, golfing and skiing.

Plastic Disney Land obviously geared for high rolling tourists, judging by the number of boutiques there.... I found it rather charmless as a place, nice countryside around but there are plenty of charming villages set in beautuful countryside....

I can not tell much for now as I was there pnly for a couple...
I can not tell much for now as I was there pnly for a couple of days but the ressort is quite nice and big with is rare for the mountines and has a lot of activities. I can to come in winter and see. It has two golf courses and sunna vaille, lakes.

Clean and with a good restaurant if you want to eat "Les fondues"
On the negative side we had to ask for the glasses (for our water) many times, the waiter was no so observant'
I was not easy to get coffee to our breakfast. Again we had to ask to get attention.

Perfect location in front of the lake, near the ski lift to go up to top of Crans. Phill, the lovely lady who works there helped us in the most profound way. We arrived and immediately realised that we left our passports in the safe at Schlossstrasse Schadau in Thun, a 4 hour drive from Crans. Phill managed to have her friend help us and we received our documents the same evening. She also helped us get free lift tickets to go to the mountain for hiking. The view from our room’s lovely and we loved the yummy breakfast at the hotel.

We had a really nice stay at Le Serenity. The apartment is beautiful and spacious and is very comfortable. The location is nice and central and close to the ski lift. The host has been very welcoming and even came to pick us up when we missed the last bus on our first night. I would highly recommend Le Serenity for a stay in Crans Montana!

The apartment was amazing with everything we needed. Spa area was excellent as well as the bar and the cigar room! Big Thanks to Pablo and the whole team for always being available with our requests. Definitely the best service in Switzerland!
