Nicolas Muller - the hotel's food and beverage manager, organized for the guest's of the hotel a fantastic, high quality New Year's Eve party in the rooftop hotel restaurant overlooking the magnificent lake Neuchatel! Though we did not have a reservation for the New Year's Eve celebration which had all been sold out, he managed to accommodate us as well. Nicolas Muller's professionalism has no limits or boundaries, Nicolas is a detail-oriented high-professional with top skills in hospitality management. He can make people happy even in unpredictable situations. Thank you Nicolas, you made us happy on the New Year's Eve 2023 and you make this hotel a better place and we will by all means come back to your hotel again to experience a high level food and beverage service. There's nothing to do in Enges itself, but the surrounding area is magnificent, a verdant haven. Several roads lead there, taking travelers through unspoiled nature. Activities are available about twenty minutes away in the plains, or it's a starting point for walks in the Chasseral Regional Park.

It's a quiet spot surrounded by fields. A bit far from the city, but that depends on what you're looking for. A 15-20 minute drive from Neuchâtel. Free parking is available.

Small village, very rural, but only 10 minutes from Neuenburg. Very quiet, excellent cuisine. It would certainly be a good idea to have the menu available in a second language (German or English)!

An ideal base for exploring the canton of Neuchâtel and even Bern… Close to numerous hiking opportunities in Enges, Chaumont, Cerlier… Places to visit include Neuchâtel and Neuville… We had dinner at the Hôtel du Chasseur: Good food, pleasant and intimate setting.
