Fribourg is not a large town but there are a few very interesting things to do. The museums are quite fantastic and have much to offer. There are many walks including up the hill to the Chapelle de Lorette. As a Catholic town, there are some fascinating relics and history at the local churches. As a bilingual city, its fascinating to hear French, Swiss German, and a decent amount of Italian all at the same time. I enjoyed exploring the old town and also some other places within easy reach by train including Neuchatel and Murten. I also enjoyed eating at various cafes and restaurants close to the hotel. A beautiful and historic city with so much to see.
A beautiful and historic city with so much to see. Transport yourself back 100s of years at the ramparts or city hall, or the church of St Nicolas.
