TurkeyThe hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood, and the rooms are clean and spacy. The owners and the staff are really helpful and thoughtful. We had to arrive really late, and because of holidays we had to leave at a time when the reception was not able to handle our tourist tax payment. On both occasions, they were really helpful and respectful.
The location is also right in the middle of many places one might want to visit in a Switzerland tour. About equal distance from Zurich, and Lauterbrunnen. Lucern itself is a prime location, and the Hotel has exceeded my expectations considering the amount I have paid.
A price/performance winner for sure. If I come to Switzerland again, I will not search for a hotel, I know where to stay :)

This city is a short distance from Lucerne.
This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. One of its benefits is hotels that cost less than Lucerne Hotels and offer great views of the Lake. Consider it a suburb of Lucerne.

Where to start! We stayed for part of our honeymoon, I had been so excited to stay somewhere with such incredible views and it did not disappoint! The apartment is modern,clean with a rustic charm. The view is breathtaking. Larissa, Beat and the whole family were welcoming and so friendly! (Including the cats!) We would 100% stay again.
Parking is great- under a carport so very safe. Hergiswil is a great place to stay near Lucerne especially if driving.
Our stay was a highlight of the whole honeymoon.

Great views all round. Direct lake access - perfect for morning swim, then into the swimming pool to warm up. Beer only CHF 5 to drink round the pool. Breakfast was good. The tuna at the restaurant was delicious. 100% recommend taking the boat from Hergiswil which is three mins walk away, unbelievable scenery.

Magnificent view the hotel is at the end if a very quiet little road. Plenty of car parking spaces.
The restaurant is very good with many non residents eating there too.
We had a beautiful room with an amazing view of Lake Lucerne.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We would love to stay here again.

Very beautiful hotel with absolutely incredible view ! From the bed you ll see full lake and mountains, peace and calmness that’s what we really need !
Breakfast was average nothing delicious and special ! Location is perfect!
