We loved truly everything about this hotel. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with directions. The room very modern and clean. The lakeview superb. The breakfast was very good too. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and that was absolutely delicious. We will definitely book this hotel again for our future trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property was spotless—immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly organized. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make us feel right at home. What truly made our experience exceptional was the host. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. Their hospitality made a big difference and added a personal touch that we truly appreciated. The apartment itself was peaceful, stylish, and in a great location. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended and we would definitely love to return!

Very well situated next to the lake, with a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. Excellent transportation links as it is situated opposite the lake ferries and within one minute walk of the bus stops to/from Lugano. We were fortunate to book the front room with balcony/terrace which is probably the best room in Morcote. Would definitely stay there again.

The property is literally at the bus stop and water ferry yet we heard no noise from the street. The restaurant is highly rated so we tried it the first night and returned the second as well. They provided stand fans in the room which was greatly appreciated. The view from the room and hotel are wonderful.

The house is located in the middle of Morcote, on a quiet quiet street, close to restaurants and the lake. The decoration of the house is very well done. The host, Manuela, is very attentive and super helpful. Comfortable beds and couch. Good shower water pressure, as you would expect for swiss standards. Great value. We would definitely stay again if going to the region.

    You must take a swim in the lake. Near the parking garage is a swimming platform. The lake is perfect. Don't test the water first, Don't dip a toe. Take a few steps back, run, jump high, Dive in a resurface a human reborn. Months latter I still think about that dive in the water in the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. The town is expensive. But If your traveling through. Stop my kid love car spotting from the cafes.

    It is a pearl of the Ticino area.

    It is a pearl of the Ticino area. The park Scherrer in Morcote is great, the village is just lovely and the people are nice. Stroll around, and enjoy the views and the village. Later you can dine in Pizzeria della Torre.

    Paradise!!

    Paradise!! Very accessible, there are buses & trains, boats going to the center. Quiet & peaceful & love to hear the bells from time to time. & the famous scenery is just around. BTW, just want to add for the Albergo Hotel- staff are nice & kind. The bus stop is just inftont of the hotel.Foods are delicious.. I love Morcote❤❤❤

    Small village.

    Small village. Stayed during winter, so no restaurant was open or stores whatsoever. Also due to covid so I can't comment on that. Else the views are beautiful around Morcote. There's this old structure where you go upstairs to reach a church. While going upstairs there are small gardens where you can rest and enjoy the view.

    Very kind staff, pets allowed, unbeatable location in Morcote, right in front of Piazza Grande bus stop. Restaurant is very cute with 4 areas to choose from: first floor overlooking the lake, main dinning room next to the bar, a sunny terrace outside and an amazing platform on top of the lake itself. Definitely coming back!

    The location is beautiful. While the hotel is old, the service is very friendly and it offers good value for money. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view over the lake. The breakfast buffet was also very good and the hotel has also a fine dining restaurant overlooking the lake.

    Not your traditional hotel… and I love it! The facility is a “ticinese” house, the room was very clean, and the bed is one the most comfortable (looks like it is brand new). The staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back!
