The best hosts I've met in Switzerland and in general. Caring, kind, nice and from the heart and not because it was necessary. The location is excellent, near the train and bus station. The room is clean (including sheets and towels) also the toilet and shower. Excellent breakfast, they made an effort since I'm vegan. Highly recommended!!!!!

Staff were super polite and professional, everything was clean, high quality, excellent breakfast and excellent restaurant for dinner, amazing serene location, and yet super convenient with train station on the property's doorstep and small grocery mart five minutes walk away.

An amazing find, stunning location. Large room, excellent shower. Very comfy bed. The evening meal was home made, really lovely. Very good breakfast. The owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming, highly recommend.

This property had some of the nicest staff we have come across in our travels. I was experiencing a health issue during our stay and they were so sweet. The chef even made me a special soup that was easy on my stomach. Breakfast was good.

Poschiavo is tranquil and serene place.

Poschiavo is tranquil and serene place. Small town but big enough to walk if you want a calm quiet moment. I found this place is a bit cheaper to eat in the restaurant than in places like zermatt. Quality of food is better and delectable. It’s walkable town. I will come back next time I go again in Switzerland.

The borge (town centre) is very beautiful (and quiet, as it is almost car-free). Many interesting sights, small workshops, museums, cultural and architectural things to see and explore. Friendly people. Once you have seen it all, start exploring the whole of the valley that offers everything from the Bernina Hospizio down to Tirano in Valtalina vallley. There is something for everybody for every season, be it mountain-biking or discussing local literature experiences and tasting the regional bio-food surprises.....

Lots of interesting architecture, pretty villas and palazzos. Museums not open in the winter which is a shame. Great to use as stop-over on the Bernina train line. Lovely surroundings and not overly touristy. Some very nice looking restaurants although not a lot was open in February.

Poschiavo in February was quiet and beautiful.

Poschiavo in February was quiet and beautiful. Coming in and out on the train with a view of the lake and the whole valley was an incredible experience. It was lovely to stroll through the town at night and in the sun and get a true feel for the culture in the region in the midst of incredible natural beauty. The lamb in the Restaurant of the Hotel Centrale was excellent!

A well-maintained historic valley village with a rich history and beautiful architecture. An ideal starting point for excursions, walks, and hikes in the surrounding area. Good public transport connections. Very friendly and helpful locals and hosts, and a great range of tourist activities.

Hotel Posta was located 8 km from Poschiavo, in the village of Le Prese, 5 minutes from Lake Miralungo where there were opportunities for lovely walks. The train journey on the Bernina line was enchanting and a wonderful discovery.

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The hotel is full of charm, blending historic character with tasteful modern touches. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, featuring a spacious and relaxing bathroom. As vegans, we appreciated the extra effort the hosts made to provide us with suitable breakfast options. We’ll definitely stay here again — next time we hope to try the restaurant and bar, which were unfortunately closed during our visit.

Lovely rustic hotel a warm welcome from the friendly staff and an upgrade. They had already been so kind when I had to change my dates last minute. A beautiful room so clean comfortable and light it even smells lovely. Great views and only five minutes walk from the train station and right in the centre of this lovely town. Breakfast was fantastic I'd definitely return

Hotel was very clean and cosy - traditional decor rather than super-modern. Breakfast was good. Located right in the middle of this pretty little town - we just stopped overnight while travelling the Bernina Express. We're keen walkers and should/could have stayed longer to do some walking in the area. We had a lovely dinner in the sister hotel just across the square.

Location superb beside train station. Downtown only a couple minutes walking away. Near hotel there is supermarket where you can get everything you might need. Room impeccably clean and modern. Would definitely consider staying again.
