The Hotel Albrici is steeped in history at every turn, and the owners are proud of the history. The main hotel has a couple of rooms where the original flooring, panelling etc has been maintained. The ceilings are fantastic. When busy, the hotel has other rooms just down the street. These are still in a historic building. The rooms are very comfortable. And everything is central.

Everything. Perfect location for the Bernina line train station. Good breakfast available. The rooms are quiet, modern and well equipped and comfortable.Host Stefano was very friendly. The restaurant, when open, offered good food at an affordable price. Delightful Poschiavo town is a short walk away.

I come from England where we have this concept of good or bad service, which is in essence an opportunity for the customer to throw a tantrum. In Le Prese I discovered a different paradigm - perfection of presentation and taste can be an art form. What am I talking about? I’m talking about how this great hotel in its iconic lakeside location has moved with the times in keeping with its heritage. I’m talking about the cheerful dedication of the staff. I’m talking about the perfection and attention to detail of the cuisine and about the devotion to local sourcing. Ok that’s what I liked about it.

The staff is very welcome weh I arrive. I had an early train to catch next morning and can't wait until breakfast time. The lady was so kind to prepared a bag of breakfast for me (bread with meat, juice, apple and snack). The room is comfortable and cozy. Just two little things, pillow is a little too soft and floor is just a little sandy, but everything else is great! Location is perfect as well. Very close to the train station and bus station.

Excellent location for walks and excursions.

Excellent location for walks and excursions. Post bus nearby. The train is inexpensive and takes you close to the mountains and glaciers. Poschiavo is nearby and well worth a visit.

Very friendly and attentive staff.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Especially during the off-season, they have time to chat. A small shop is also integrated into the same building. Meals are prepared using products from the Val Poschiavo region whenever possible.

Very centrally located and ideally suited for our excursions...

Very centrally located and ideally suited for our excursions and hikes. Hike around the nearby Lake Poschiavo, as well as the hike from Alp Grüm to Poschiavo. Good public transport connections in all directions.
