This was the perfect place for me to stay while hiking in the area, although my wife had to cancel due to foot injuries. The host was friendly and knowledgeable about trail conditions following the recent floods, which delayed my arrival, but she informed me about road conditions by phone and messaging. She assisted my befriending another solo international traveler, even though we had no common language - a memory to last a lifetime. Good food proportioned to each guest's needs. Very clean and quiet. I'm already thinking about ways to return, maybe with my wife and a couple hiking buddies.

Located in a traditional house in Zermatt, the Stockhorn is only a 10-minute walk from Matterhorn Ski Paradise. It has a restaurant, and offers rooms with balconies and mountain views.

Breakfast was excellent and included in the price. Homemade organic bread from the on premise bakery was so good. Many options from which to choose - all delicious. Scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bacon, meat and cheese assortment, multiple yogurts, home made granola, many toppings, many jams, several types of homemade breads, etc. Free transportation to and from the train station by electric transport vehicle. Excellent dinners with healthy options and homemade bread at the hotel steakhouse. Extremely helpful staff with all questions. On-site spa but didn’t have time to use it.

The Annex Antika next to the Antika hotel can be found in the center of Zermatt and offers you value-for-money rates, a rich and complimentary breakfast buffet and free access to the wellness area.

Great hotel!!! Staffs are amazing. Our room was upgraded with small payment. But still it's wonderful. Breakfast was good !! I didn't expect such a clean room . Overall it's great stay !!!

The staff are friendly and helpful. It's apparently a 4th generation of family ownership. The room has a spectacular view and was comfortable and private. The breakfast had everything you wanted to start your day, and dinner is a fine dining experience with innovative offerings. It is also possible to ski to and from the hotel.
