Hotel in St. Moritz
The stylish and elegant The Piz is located close to the center of St. Moritz, 1640 feet from the Signal Cable Car. It offers a pizzeria and free WiFi. We only stayed one night, being in transit. Everything was ok, staff friendly. The location is in the centre of the resort and there is a restaurant/bar/pizzeria on the ground floor. Very spacious room, but the windows looked out onto an interior space (didn't matter to us). Underfloor heating, a bit too hot for my liking. Breakfast served from 7am, buffet, all ok. Room service available.
Hotel in St. Moritz
Centrally located in St. Moritz-Dorf with panoramic views of the lake and the mountains, the traditional Soldanella Hotel is only a 5-minute walk from the shopping street and the Corviglia Ski Area. My best friend and I loved the view from our room, the bathroom amenities, the location, the food (ate dinner and breakfast on site), and the staff. We had a couple special requests (wine opener and wine glasses) and they accommodated us with no issue. Also, we arrived just a few minutes before the dinner service was ending - but they still allowed us to order and eat our dinner with no issues or sour attitudes (and with a FABULOUS view).

The traditional Hotel Schweizerhof St. Moritz is located right in the center of Sankt Moritz, only a 3-minute walk from the Chantarella funicular. The Staff at this hotel is fantastic; I have traveled all over the world and never have I had such appreciation for the staff of a hotel. Just an awesome staff - can't say enough for their help! Arriving at St. Moritz I was having back problems that became severe. The staff arranged for me to see a Doctor a short ways away, including use of the hotel van. David - on staff came to the room and helped me walk to the van and into the Doctors office with my arm around his shoulder for support. Lara at the front desk arranged things with the Doctor and was on top of our situation and showed real concern for my well being. My company has a global assistance service that I contacted as well; frankly the staff at the hotel did all the work. The Doctor recommended by the hotel was excellent. His care worked and I made it home without issue. Cost was very fair. The hotel itself is in a great location, I was able to get to the terrace the last day (following treatments). The terrace has a great view overlooking all of St. Moritz and the lake. Many other restaurants close by and a small grocery very close for any supplies you may need. The room was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was included; I was able to go to the dining room the second morning and it's beautiful; an old classic room with very nice decorated ceilings and a great view. The omelet was one of the best I every had. Surprisingly the mini-bar in the room was totally included as well; I have never seen that! The day I couldn't make it to the dining room the staff allowed my wife to bring items from the included breakfast to our room; again they had an awareness of my situation and responded with kindness. We extended our stay by 1 day to rest my back, leaving the last day at 6am to the airport the staff packed a take away bag of food for us as they knew we would miss breakfast - it was very generous. Hats off to the staff in all aspects of our visit! Thank you!!!

We have skied all over the US, and St Moritz was hands down the best location for not just skiing but things to do and places for Michelin starred meals. The Kempinski was not in town center, but had a convenient shuttle to town and the best part was it’s walkable to the gondola for skiing. There is a ski equipment rental in the hotel making it easy to ski for just a day or the week. The restaurants were amazing. Ca d’ Oro is Michelin and D’ Adriano’s had exceptional Italian fare. Breakfast was best anywhere we have ever stayed with an abundant buffet or menu with made to order items like eggs Benedict. The concierge service and spa made our trip very special. Will return for sure.
St Moritz is always nice, any time of the year, but for the Christmas break it is magic. The decorations in the old town and around are super nice, the ambience as well. The people are always very friendly and welcoming tourists. You can find everything you need and walking around it is very nice. The town is small and at human scale, super cozy. Streets are very well maintained, parking is convenient, train station, ski lifts, all great. The slopes are very easy, so ideal to ski with the family. There are also many restaurants on the mountain to choose from. The towns around st moritz like Celerina or Suvretta and silvaplana are also worth a visit.
The lakes really exceed my expectation. St. Moritz was only considered a starting point of the Glacier Express for me, but i ended up I found it more splendid than the Glacier Express. Walking around the lakes is definitely a great fun.
It was good for a day. I would come again for sure but after arrive from Glacier express I will rent a Bike and ride around and leave next day. Unless it's winter and you can ski. a lot of places were closed
Having never been to St. Moritz but thinking of it as a kind of rich and famous place I found the people we came in contact with to be nothing of the sort. They were kind, helpful, enthusiastic to guests. I wish we had more time there. It was beautiful as expected; it didn't disappoint.
There are much nicer destinations in Switzerland than this city. It is interesting to try it and see it, but what is special about it is that it doesn't have much in common with a typical swiss city. It is very cosmopolitan, very touristic, relatively modern, but out of some special events or skiing season it doesn't have much to offer. Narrow streets with dense traffic don't add any charm to it neither. Lastly, it's well overpriced. Not really worth it.
Everything was perfect. From the pick up from the station to the drop off. The driver was very kind and friendly. The girl at reception Maria was absolutely lovely and so friendly. The bed was soft and so comfortable. Spa area was a lovely bonus with sauna, steam room and swimming pool. Very clean and nothing missing. Breakfast was delicious. Nice view from the window as well. Would recommend this hotel which is in a short walking distance from everything in town. Fondue in the restaurant was very yummy.
From the start even with covid restrictions the hotel staff where friendly and and engaging.. The restrictions didn't where well managed and didn't cause any distribution to the enjoyment. Food was excellent from the à la carte and wine selection great. The whiskey bar with its 2500+ whiskeys was a highlight and it was either that or the very comfortable bed that lead to a great night's sleep. Also the views across the lake from the restaurant and room was fantastic
St. Moritz
We had a wonderful stay at River Inn. We felt very welcoming by Sabrina when we checkin. She was very nice to answer all our questions. We stayed 2 nights and was received the guest Engadin Cards to take cable cars/bus/trains to the mountains for free. Our room was very clean and cozy. The breakfast buffet was great. It has many choices and good breakfast food. We highly recommend to stay at River Inn while traveling to St. Moritz.
The hotel has totally exceeded my expectations. Everything was 100% perfect - from the point the hotel chaffeur met us at the train station (we arrived using the Glacier express) and until the car taking us to the airport. Suvretta House is amazing and full of history, the restaurants are superb, breakfast is delicious, and they are really taking care of you here! Can't wait to be back.
Fantastic breakfast, great location, stellar staff service (quite rare in a post-Covid world..). Arrived without any ski gear and the concierges went out of their way to help me find my outfits. Also all of the hotel restaurants are delicious and there's an option for every taste. Will definitely come back!
What stood out most to us was the friendliness, Hygiene, staff pofessionality and the delicious food. Beautiful spa, also a large pool, relaxing area and sauna The lobby, bar and restaurant are decorated and furnished with care and style. we strongly recommend this hotel
it’s a big family house that was converted to hotel… on the hills above the lakes. out of the fancy st Moritz and perfect location to get out for hiking around. the story of the organization that hold this hotel is very touching.
St. Moritz
The amount of amenities for the price. Cleanliness, options to be separate because of COVID, breakfast, bus takes you from st. Moritz station to right in front of the hostel. Great facilities. Exceeded my expectations.
The room #236 was plenty big and the view was nice. The breakfast was adequate but not as plentiful as some 3 star hotels. The wait staff for dinner were very good and attentive. The wine/bar was well priced.
The bed was excellent, one of the best ever in a hotel, we slept really well. The view from the big window towards the lake was beautiful. Very good location with in-town restaurants within short walking distance.
Very nice hotel, right in the middle of town and very near a lot of the buses. The facilities were immaculate and we enjoyed the good service in the hotel‘s restaurant.
The location of the hotel is excellent it is very central you can walk to ski lifts and to all shops and most restaurants in the evening. The Breakfast is ok.
St. Moritz
All OK when you keep in mind that this is a hostel and not 5 star hotel. Friendly host.
