I liked that the property was close proximity to many areas. I also loved the employees who were remarkable at making us feel at home. I also appreciated that the employees provided us with many options on what to do because during our stay, the weather was a little on and off (it was rainy season). The place was cozy - they have an area for guests to lounge around AND free breakfast at certain times. it was truly a pleasure to be hosted by the Aarburg Hotel/Cafe.

The property is at a very convenient location close to the train station and bus stops. The reception staff is extremely friendly and even offered us a ride to the airport to help us get to a bigger train station. It was great.

    Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.

    For what you pay, you can’t really complain and should know what to expect. The shared toilet and shower isn’t ideal but we knew that we would have to share. But it was dirty. We had a sink in our room and washed from that and cleaned it ourselves. Great location though! Oh and the bar next door is really loud you won’t get any sleep. But again we saw the reviews knew what to expect. We only booked as booking.com cancelled our hotel we booked months ago 2 days before we got there.

    The location was in the center of the city near the river, and the staff were very friendly, especially Jean. He helped us with everything and whether he hesitated or complained despite the many requests. Thank you, Jean. I will definitely repeat the visit and recommend everyone I know to visit this nice hotel
