CanadaWe spent a week in the hotel in April. It is a beautiful property and a great base for walks to Hertenstein, Vitznau and to the cable car to mount Rigi. The hotel is near the ferry dock which provides an easy way to reach the many small pretty towns on the Lake Lucerne.
The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is simply delicious! It is a very good opportunity to sample local breads, cheeses and cold meat cuts, and the hostess will also cook eggs to your liking. Our room with the lake view was so pretty! Highly recommend the hotel.

Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.

Booked room with a mountain view.
Booked room with a mountain view. However, on reaching the property, upgraded to Lake view at a cost of CHF 20 per day. Room had amazing view of Lake and hills.
Property is located in Weggis and is easily accessible from Boat and bus ( Frequency of 30mins to 60mins). Town is very peaceful and one can enjoy beautiful walk around the lake.
Property has fitness centre, spa and swimming pool which are maintained properly. Had an amazing experience staying at this property.

The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic.
The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic. We ate in our hotel on both nights of our stay and the food and wine were fabulous. You can walk alongside the lake and there are several places to eat. We visited Mount Rigi which was busy but the 360 view at the top was wonderful. We went up in a cable car then railway then had an easy walk back down to the cable car station

We took the boat out one day then another day in Weggis, we really needed another day to go up to Palatus. We watched an outside orchestra, then the next day was a carnival but we had to go. There is always something going on in Weggis, beautiful town

Right by the lake with a lovely infinity swimming pool by the lake.
It was clear the hotel had been recently decorated. Possible to get a lunchtime menu into the afternoons, staff were friendly and helpful.
My bed was very comfortable.
The pier for the boats 5 minutes walk away.
Also the mount Rigi cablecar is probably around 15 minutes walk walk away.
I felt relaxed and enjoyed my stay at Weggis, the shops were friendly also.

We stayed out of season in November, looking for a relaxing lakeside "1930s" vibe which this delivered. The location was perfect - the ferry trip from Luzern was outstanding (it was sunny) and the quay is 2 minutes walk from the hotel so very convenient. It's not a super modern hotel but has lots of character and great for swimming in the morning. Staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble

Marvellous view on Lake Lucerne and mountains including Pilatus. Very convenient location in the center of Weggis, directly opposite the ferry quay, which offers connection to Lucerne (45 min). Tourist info in front of the hotel. Possibility to use the swimming pool and sauna. Parking (although paid) behind the hotel.

Nice hotel in the resort area of Weggis, good spa with different saunas, indoor and outdoor pool. Free underground parking. The rooms are classic-old, the staff is doing a good job with quick check-in and help.

Stunning views and balcony directly overlooking the lake. Lovely roomy apartment. Weggis is a gorgeous town, nice alternative to Lucerne.
