United StatesThe Baer & Post is an excellent place to stay. We were there for 3 nights. It is an ideal location, half-way between Davos and St, Moritz. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and immediately felt so at home. Our room was very spacious, exceedingly clean with great beds, pillows and duvets and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and the dinner great. We can't say enough good things about the Baer & Post….stay here, you won't be disappointed.

The shower and bathroom were great and overall attention to detail across the rest of the hotel was excellent. Generous breakfast was delicious. A charming little Engadine village.
A charming little Engadine village. Absolutely worth a visit and also a great starting point for excursions into the National Park and towards Val Müstair, the Upper Engadine/St. Moritz, or the Lower Engadine.

Since we were only in Zernez for one day, I can't say much.
Since we were only in Zernez for one day, I can't say much. But according to the internet, there's plenty more to do. We were satisfied. We ate very well, although we didn't eat at the hotel restaurant.

It's great that the hiking trailheads are so well connected by public transport and that the ample parking is free. The national park museum is highly recommended!

A great starting point for excursions in all directions (Lower Engadine, Upper Engadine, Ofen Pass). Few people, good indoor swimming pool with outdoor area, nature conservation center, ice rink. Everything is much cheaper than in the Upper Engadine. Many train connections and postal bus services.

There are various restaurants at different price levels, shopping facilities (Coop, Denner etc.), good access to cross-country ski trails and hiking paths, short distance to the Ofenpass, or then on to Italy.

Lovely property in a quiet location in Zernez close to the National Park Center.
The staff is very welcoming.
They waited for us to arrive quite late in the night so that we could lock our bikes in the garage.
Breakfast was very nice either way fresh ingredients and nice fresh bread.
We had a lovely room with the view towards the mountains it was very peaceful to sleep and so beautiful waking up to that view.

Central location and easy to move to and from by car when exploring the lower Engadine, National Park, Val Mustair. Liked the proximity to the National Park Centre which is highly recommended!
Hotel and restaurant are somewhat average and could use an upgrade here and there but everything worked and it was clean, beds were comfortable and breakfast was good.

A beautiful hotel in the pretty town of Zernez. The breakfast is beyond delicious and everything is made to perfection in the morning. The restaurant is really a must, food was fresh and delicious and presented at Michelin starred restaurant level. The staff is amazing, everyone speaks 4-5 languages.

Great location near station and Zernez. Super apartment, comfy bed, cooking facilities and shower room. Warm and quiet. Owners left out sweet treats for me. They also collected me from station which is very useful when have bags and helps with finding property. My Swiss train was late!!

Very nice small alpine hotel with cozy interior and very friendly staff. Breakfasts are amazing, food in restaurant is also good. I had a rooftop standard double room, which was great but for taller people it may be a bit to small.
