The beautiful character, insanely comfortable beds, and easy proximity to a tram line to get into old town. We had to leave for an early flight and didn’t get to enjoy their breakfast that looked so good! Amazing boutique hotel with great customer service and we were bummed we only had one night there.

the owner has thought of everything! there is a robe and slippers for you, there is soap and lotion, there is a tiny fridge and a microwave, along with a simple set of kitchen goods (cutting board, dish towel, dish soap, cutlery, cup, mug, corkscrew) and even a USB cord and a power adapter in case anything has been forgotten. they are so kind and the location is perfect! the room is small but that was what I had expected -- I had not expected it to be so thoughtfully designed and set up for me! the shower was also hot and powerful, bathroom clean, and they held my heavy bag for me while I explored the following day.

Take a Fresh Look at Zurich

As the financial capital of Switzerland and headquarters of several large companies including FIFA, there’s a good chance that if you’re in Zurich you’re here on business. But that doesn’t mean this city doesn’t have a playful side.

Known for its cleanliness and fresh air, it comes as no surprise that the luxurious ski resorts of the Alps are within an easy distance of both the city and Zurich Airport, which is only a 12 minute drive from the city center.

    Apart from the hotel, my stay in Zurich was wonderful. The city is beautiful, easy to explore, and has excellent connectivity. I really enjoyed the clean surroundings, the vibrant atmosphere, and the charm of simply walking around and experiencing the local culture.

    Despite the rain during my 24hours in Zurich it is a delightful city. Everyone is very friendly, the spires, river and Lake Zurich are gorgeous. My only regret is not bringing my swimming costume, as I passed Seebad Utoquai, a facility for safe bathing in Lake Zurich (presumably with a nice hot shower for after) which I would have loved to have done!

    Centrally located so allows you to travel to any location in about 2-3 hours and come back. Travel pass is a must. Zurich station is 3 minutes from Stadelhofen. It is a huge station with +40 platforms. Swiss time is expensive and trains are always on time. This allows you 3-5 minutes of running or brisk walk for changeovers. If you miss the train then lag is about 30-50 minutes. Migros, coop, aldi are some supermarkets. Drinking Water is freely available unless you are a snob. Bakery is hot and over fresh. Best is to grab in morning. Coffee is amazing as well. Chesse is something one must not compromise on rather indulge into in Zurich. Don't spoil yourself with chocolates, fresh vegetables and fruits. Tomatoes are big as oranges. Clean air helpful people, no noise, clean and neat environment. Green and white everywhere. Swiss roses are in bunches in gardens. One branch has almost 6-7 roses. Bush is like a rose bouquet. Loved it.

    I had a fantastic experience at Motel One Zürich! The hotel's location, just a 10-minute walk from Bahnhofstrasse, was incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The room was comfy and well-appointed, ensuring a restful stay. To top it off, they even arranged a taxi for us from the airport, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, our stay was lovely, and I couldn't find anything to complain about. I would definitely recommend Motel One Zürich to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city.

    This hotel was such a great find! From having an excellent location in Zurich, to access to so many affordable places to eat, all within walking distance. It was an easy walk to the supermarket and train station, which took us straight to the airport. Super easy. The lift took us to the third floor so we didn't have to carry our suitcases. The room had a kitchenette and lounge area which was brand new and very clean. We would definitely come back here!!

    One of the cheapest places that we found to stay in a convenient location in Zurich. Easy to go to the centre with a vehicle in 15-20 mins. There is Aldi nearby. Normal size of room considering it's a budget hotel. Good for a few days. Good staff- quick and easy check in. Lots of parking spaces exist. There is cold water to drink in the reception and a restaurant.

Staff was really friendly and helpful, parking was spacious and covered, room was good size and came with aircon, euro-socket on the desk for laptops, as well was water kettle.     The hotel was good and fulfilled all of my needs for a short weekend in Zurich. Close to the train station I could get into Zurich and to the airport really easily! The shared kitchen was fantastic to keep my trip cheap, with everything you need from pots, pans and a fridge.
