It is in a tall building and it appears the hotel uses all of the top floors, which allowed for great view of the city.
The room was nice and big, very comfortable beds, good thermostat and the shower was fantastic.
Very pet friendly, allowed for my kitten to stay with no issues.
Staff very attentive and friendly

The restaurant / bar attached to the casino has excellent burgers with unusual names and a large selection of local beers. The Volcano restaurant outside the casino was excellent for steak and tuna tartar. I recommend the limonada de menta; my fellow diners raved about the pisco sours.
Just a note for business travelers; laundry service and ironing boards are not provided.
The restaurant in the hotel has a good buffet breakfast and good menu for lunch.
The reception desk staff is very friendly and helpful. We needed to cut our stay short by one day in order to attend to some other business in Santiago and there was no issue making the change.
I will stay here again.

Chillán is highly underrated.
Chillán is highly underrated. I love visiting the Mexican murals in the Escuela de México, seeing the Cathedral, walking through the vegetable and artesan markets, and eating in the Mercado Municipal. Eat at Cocinería Carmencita, they have amazing Chilean dishes! Also, if you crave a good coffee, and especially if you are gluten free, go to Cafetería Limarí. Amazing gluten free desserts!

Location is great, it is right at the city centre. There are lots of things to do within 5 minutes walking distance (theatre, shopping malls, main square, the cathedral, museums, restaurants, etc.).
The restaurant in the hotel has a great selection of local dishes (longanizas, pastries, etc.) as well international options (pasta, risotto, etc.). There is a coffee house with a great selection of cakes (freshly made) and "tablas" for sharing. I want to highlight the staff, they are quite friendly, in special Jovanna in the restaurant.

My stay at Hotel Las Terrazas was wonderful. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My room was perfectly clean and tidy, which was great for relaxing after a fun day in the thermal waters of Chillán. I even woke up late for breakfast on my final day and they were kind enough to offer me some cereal, yogurt, and desserts. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any person thinking about spending some days in beautiful and relaxing Chillán.
