This place is an absolute gem from the quality of the staff, adherence to the historical character of the building and the finishes and traditional touches throughout. A special shout out to the amazing and always smiling staff, in particular Ivonne and front desk personnel. The breakfast and all meals were fantastic. Best place we stayed in all of Chile to date. If you have the opportunity to be in this area, be sure to choose Casa Werner.

The lakeside location is so impressive right in front of Orsono volcano.Guests are able to walk the beach and sit on the shore.Puerta Varas is minutes away a nice afternoon.the town is crowded and full of tourists. Casa Molino offers a wonderful respite.Staff is incredibly accommodating. Hated to leave after four days. Highly recommend

    We wanted to have two full days in PV.

    We wanted to have two full days in PV. We made the right decision. First day we went to fruitillas for half day. Nice place for some hours. there is e nice theatre there. If you want to visit for a show, you will need to book in advance. Second day was sunday and we booked to trip to the volcanos and waterfalls and beautiful turquoise lake. This was a good choice as sunday most was closed.

    There is more rain than England and that is saying something. The scenery is spectacular and there are lots of tours you can go on. To keep things cheap, use the local buses as they are frequent and reliable.

    A very jolly town, clearly doing quite well.

    A very jolly town, clearly doing quite well. All the locals we spoke to were friendly and helpful, particularly the tourist Info in centre of town. We rented a car for a couple of days from Morris at Sur Car Rental, hilarious and good value. Mi gusto Puerto Varas!

    Went mid October and weather can be a factor. Wanted to get a tour of volcano and park rangers closed the road due to deep snow. Rest of town was nice to walk and stroll around. People were very friendly and helpful.

    Very friendly town, with great shopping and very good restaurants. The Vinoteca at the lake offers great food, combined with an amazing variety of wines, sold at the same price in-store as in the restaurant.

    Very beautiful city and surroundings.

    Very beautiful city and surroundings. There are a lot of places and natural wonders to visit, any tourist would be impressed. Puerto Varas has a rich history which would amaze any curious mind. I arrived by bus since there are no flights between intermediate cities in Chile and it was very disappointing to find out that there is no proper bus terminal. My bus arrived at 5 am and we had to sit in the floor until a taxi appeared and he took us to the only 24h store in the city, which would only sell through a small window. We had to sit down again on the floor until the sun came out.

    This is a cozy little apartment. It is an easy pleasant walk along the waterfront to the center Puerto Varas where the majority of restaurants are located. It was very clean and we had everything we required. There is always someone at the front desk and they are very helpful and friendly. A large grocery store is close by. The apartment is conveniently located a short scenic drive to Osorno hiking trails. Our host was very helpful and friendly, answering some questions we had.

    Beautiful hotel, decorated and maintained with loving touches referencing the German heritage of the owners beyond the name. Being 3 people, we had an apartment with a wood-fuelled stove to ourselves. While the jacuzzi was out of order and we were only staying for 1 night, we could easily see how it could be enjoyable with its incredible view of Puerto Varas. It was a nice 10 - 15 min walk to the city center, with a great coffee place on the way.

    Traditional Chilean wooden house. Good place. Easy check in. Close to the beautiful waterfront and bars / restaurants. It is a decent walk I to the city but a bus passes right past the door. Easy and cheap use. Free tea and coffee.
