Lovely building in the centre of Cartegena. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of hot and cold options. Secure entrance so inside felt like a sanctuary compared with the craziness of the streets outside!

Beautiful place, very nice and cozy and the staff very helpful. If you want to party all night, spend the day sleeping and stay up all night in a hostile environment surrounded by liquor, drunks, prostitutes and police, this is the perfect place!. I would add the videos but they are very unpleasant.

Colourful and historic, modern and colonial, local and touristic, Cartagena de Indias represents one of the liveliest Colombian beach resorts. Its character mixes cultures and peoples, including natives, Spanish, African and Arab. Its rich legacy granted its Old Town the recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
When the Spanish founded the city in 1533, the region had already been inhabited for thousands of years. It became an important port for the Spanish gold and a significant political centre. Echoes of those times can be seen throughout the historic centre, in the city walls, the San Felipe de Barajas Castle, and the colourful streets and colonial squares. Some of the best hotels in Cartagena de Indias can be found here.
Proudly Caribbean, Cartagena’s soul gives the rhythm to the streets, and the music coming out of cafés and restaurants is nothing but a physical manifestation of its collective spirit. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of Cartagena.
If you can't stand the heat, stay out of Cartagena. It is a beautiful city with very friendly people. The food was terrific, and I have never had any issues with the gastronomy. There are many things to do and see. It is a unique experience. Do your research and plan your outings. If you like history and culture, you will love this city. It would be best if you understood Spanish or used a translation device.

Would not come back. Cartagena is not inexpensive.
Would not come back. Cartagena is not inexpensive. Many of the prices were more than in California. The vendors are extremely aggressive. It is not restful, peaceful or ever quiet. Very difficult to sightsee or relax and enjoy your vacation. There are lots of stray dogs. The beaches are not beautiful, ocean is not crystal clear, no mass transit.

This hotel is only 7 rooms so you get one on one service. We had the room right on the street above the entrance, but it was totally quiet. Breakfast is nice, and the staff will do whatever you want them to do. We asked for poached eggs which they didn't know how to do, but they were willing to learn and it was great. The location is fantastic with restaurants on your doorstep, and you are in the old city and Getsemani is within walking distance. A fantastic place to stay.
Such a lovely hotel. Loved how close it was to the airport. Beautiful views and great drinks! The buffet was decent but for the price I don't think one could expect too much more. There were not too many shops or restaurant options near by. We needed groceries and had to go to the old city, a 10 minute taxi. Staff were always helpful. Kids had a great time at the park and games room. Very close to the beach and amazing active community. Totally safe!
Staff was really great (and all called "Rosa", notably Rosa Roja, Rosa Azul, Rosa Negra). The hotel also helped us out with coordinating the Covid-tests we required for our return trip home. The hotel is located in one of the cutest streets of the old city, and everything was at walking distance from the hotel. Great place to stay when visiting Cartagena!
Great location at the heart of the old city. The Air Conditioning was essential as it was very hot and humid outside. Although they do not serve breakfast at the hotel, the cafe that provides breakfast provided very nice food.
