ColombiaI highly recommend Wakanda as an excellent place to stay and unwind. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, and the property maintained an exceptional level of cleanliness. It is the ideal resting spot if you are visiting the nearby Hacienda Napoles and Doradal attractions. The team, especially Santiago and Alejandra, are both incredible and deeply personable.

The facilities and location are very pretty; unfortunately the rooms and the bedding smelled strongly of mold. There is no reception office, minimal and very unhelpful staff, bedding, towels, and bathrobes were stained, weak wifi, no food or coffee / tea available at the facility, loud music constantly playing. Not worth the luxury price, would be ok at half the price.

The park, Hacienda Nápoles, is the main attraction of the place. The only downside is that cell phone reception in town is very poor; no carrier worked, so it was always necessary to be in a place with Wi-Fi to communicate via WhatsApp. The restaurants on the main street had delicious food, and the people were very friendly.

At the entrance to Doradal, they stopped all vehicles to check their emergency kits, and if anything was missing, they sold them the kit right there. If they didn't buy it, they got a ticket. I won't be going back to Doradal. It was extortion disguised as an educational campaign.

The Colombian Santorini, or the village in El Dorada, is a beautiful place. However, if you plan to take photos, you should leave the time until after 4:00 PM, as it's very hot and difficult to take a good picture in the intense sunlight. It's very close to Hacienda Nápoles.

It's a charming town, the Colombian Santorini.
It's a charming town, the Colombian Santorini. It's a pretty neighborhood, but it lacks a decent restaurant with a good atmosphere; it's really lacking in that aspect. Hacienda Nápoles is incredible. It's very beautiful, and there are many attractions for children. The zoo is nice, although it needs more animals. The African Museum is very nice. Río Claro is a beautiful reserve if the weather is good.
