ColombiaThe location is great, right at the beach, and mangrove forest right behind the house. There are good food options near by and bar next door. There is no shoes policy which keeps the place clean, but also gives you natural, comfortable and cozy feeling. It is decorated tastefully, with a lot of natural material, beautiful forest view, and sea breeze. Have in mind if you are coming from Europe or elsewhere the 110V plugs, the place has just enough infrastructure to feel comfortable, but be mindful it’s in nature. Setting is beautiful with river and the ocean, and staff was really helpful about where to eat, helping us arrange the transport from the airport, and we were pretty demanding guests. Also there have 3 adorable kitties in the house.

FranceWe stayed at Cayena by Masaya after visiting Tayrona Park, and it was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional, from the reception to the restaurant team. The hotel has only a few rooms, which made it feel peaceful and never crowded—we always found a great spot to lounge by the beautiful, large pool (perfect for a proper swim). There’s also a covered area with yoga equipment, and we loved starting the day with a beach-front workout.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a super comfy bed, working AC, hot water, and complimentary refillable drinking water.
The restaurant was a highlight—breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, and the à la carte prices were very reasonable, so we were happy to eat at the hotel. There are beds on the beach, but we mostly stayed by the pool since the ocean had big waves and a small sandy area during our visit (great for surfers, though).
Overall, we had a perfect stay and would absolutely recommend Cayena for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, relaxing setting.

SpainThe place is a truly hidden gem in the area. Big lot full of nature, colors, fruits and trees of all kinds. It was perfect for a short stay before and after the lost city.
Every dish of the menu was extremely well designed and very tasty. The premises and reading area had really cool music and a nice vibe. As well as the river and garden.
The room was big and had very good beds.
The staff (especially Diana and Lorena) is SUPER kind and attentive, and so were both owners.

CanadaThe property and location are just amazing, even better than what you see in the pictures. There are a lot of open spaces, with a surrounding view of the jungle and mountains that you can enjoy from the different common areas. The nature was well preserved also on-site, instead of the typical indoors-hostels, here you get the chance to fully enjoy your environment. Still walking distance from the beach for a daily sunset, but far enough that you get your peace and quiet when needed.

Guachaca was a nice tiny village to stay in with proximity to both Buritaca and Costeño beaches and Tayrona park. It's easy to catch the bus to take you along the main road to these other towns and some hikes.
