They have gone out of their way to keep this hotel in it’s original splendour! This is one of the best places I stayed while in Colombia for six weeks. The location is perfect. It is on the central square but all rooms are set back from the street if you have sensitive hearing.

It's a family run hostel where the couple are not just friendly but easy to communicate with. I went with the cheapest option which normally gives me a bunk bed in a dorm. Here for that price I got a large room with double bed, tv and private bathroom, both very clean and cleaned during your stay as well. The kitchen is also large and well equiped. The whole place also functionsnas a farm which was a nice change to what I'm used to. Overall if I'm back to Pitalito, this where I'll come back to.

It was like my Home away from Home. I was treated like family, not only tending to my every need, helping me with my luggage, directions for restaurants (even personally escorting me to a restaurant that was a few blocks away!). Also, I sent some socks to be washed and dried, and when they weren't finished by the next morning, I went to breakfast barefoot while I waited. It was no problem, then suddenly one of the gals from the kitchen came with a folded towel for my feet, to keep my feet warm while I waited! Such a sweet gesture, although I was fine waiting without the towel! The Hotel is exquisite with beautiful, elegant designs and decorations, and appropriate "Megalith statues" throughout that fit this gateway to San Agustin region! The breakfasts were awesome, variety, always homemade with lots of fresh, delicious fruits. And they homemade me delicious tea each morning, complete with fruit decorations - tas and enticing! The room was very comfortable, especially the bed! And the entire Hotel is immaculately clean! Between the warmth of decor and ambiance, topped with the warmth of the service, my stay here was nothing but comfort!!. .... Oops, almost forgot that I was a bit bitchy when I first arrived because my knee was hurting from hiking, so I wasn't my most receptive, yet they completely handled my needs and made me very comfortable, not at all taking attitude because I was off. I was able to calm down immediately. ✨👍 ... On my last day there, they all joined in for a photo with me -- One big happy family!

A beuatiful and big century-old house with a garden full of plants and flowers inside. Very welcoming and kind owner and the person taking care of the house. Received a free upgrade on the room. Great place for one or several nights or to stay longer period work if needed. Delicious breakfast included. Several restaurants and grocery stores in the neighbourhood.
