Amazing property with a wonderful view of the sunset. We had a large room, everything was very clean, staff very friendly. The food in the restaurant a few steps away was great. Breakfast at the pool was good, too. The lodge is actually even nicer in reality than shown in the photos. We needed about 35min. by car to get to the airport. We would return any time.

The owner and his family personally made sure all his guests were happy and comfortable, providing extra services. The rooms as well as the grounds were exceptionally beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms quiet, light and spacious, bathroom had an indoor and outdoor shower. The restaurant was also quite good, with a variety of good quality breakfasts, lunches and suppers as well as a couple of special dessert treats. We had the pool to ourselves in the afternoons.

Clean, spacious rooms with lovely balcony and views. A great start to a Costa Rica trip or the end of it. Hospitable households. Picked us up from the airport and arranged a transfer the next morning to Poas volcano with a final stop at La Fortuna. We booked one more night at this hotel before flying home. Cecelia, her staff and her children Irene and Roberto went above and beyond on my stay. I felt cared for like an intimate family member.
