Boasting a garden, a private beach area, and a terrace, Faith Glamping Dome Costa Rica features accommodation in Manzanillo with free WiFi and sea views. The Dome we stayed in was amazing! So comfortable - bed was great, atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming, and the location was amazing.
Featuring a garden and a terrace, Pineapple house Manzanillo provides accommodation in Manzanillo with free WiFi and garden views. The holiday home features river views and is 49 km from Isla Colón. The house is really beautiful, also it's situated amazing (right next to the beach and the park) and our service Katja was very nice and immediately here for help(but she just speaks spanish) . You have a washmashine, a dryer, a fridge, a freezer, a toaster, a microwave and coffee mashine.
Set in Manzanillo, 49 km from Isla Colón, Casa Luka and Casa Rio offers a garden and free WiFi. These homes were among the most beautiful, thoughtfully-built and maintained that I have had the privilege to rent in Costa Rica. The property itself was absolutely gorgeous -- in the middle of a lowland tropical rain forest with large, primary-forest trees towering over its six acres providing shade, beautiful gardens and homes for all sorts of animals -- from colorful poison dart frogs to howler monkeys. The caretakers quickly became close friends. We loved our stay there!
Set in Manzanillo, 49 km from Isla Colón, Congo Bongo Ecolodges Costa Rica offers a garden and free WiFi. The lodge offers a barbecue. Peaceful and secluded setting in mid jungle, lots of wild flowers and wild animals around, you'll see howler monkeys a few trees away and humming birds a few metres away. We walked to the local beach and most of the time had the long stretch of beach to ourselves. We had River Dream House and were glad of air conditioning in bedrooms, this kept insects out. Mari-Sol our hostess was lovely. It's a lovely touch they do your laundry for you each day..
Situated in Manzanillo in the Limon region, El Colibri Lodge features a garden. The bed and breakfast has garden views and is 8 km from Cocles. you are in the jungle with all its beauty and noises, the owners are just lovable and very helpful, next to unpopulated beach, away from the Puerto Viejo madness,
Offering a garden with a veranda and hammocks, Cabinas Yamann is situated in Puerto Manzanillo, 11 km from Puerto Viejo. Cahuita is 23 km from the property. The cabina was super nice and clean. The room was big with a refrigerator and a nice balcony. We enjoyed the pool which was also very clean in a nice little garden.
Caricako Hostel is located 20 metres from Manzanillo Beach and 10 metres from a bus station. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. Featuring a shower, private bathrooms also come with towels. The owners are really friendly and make you feel as if you were at home.
It's a very quiet little town at the end of the road in Costa Rica's southern Caribbean. The jaguar rescue center and the Ara project are both nearby, and there's opportunities to do surfing, snorkeling, hiking, and other tours nearby as well. We primarily came for the snorkeling and found the visibility and scarcity of fish a little underwhelming. We still saw some pretty cool stuff, but it definitely took some persistence. The food at soda Wuacho was awesome.
Manzanillo is a paradise in the Caribbean of Costa Rica for plenty of reasons. Its tranquillity, wildlife refuge with white sand beaches and calm waters, its warm people, their culture and gastronomy (local fresh seafood, rice and beans, local sweets). I love the variety of activities offered: snorkeling, kayaking, biking, hiking, etc. Worth to mention that it´s fairly close to Puerto Viejo and Cahuita which are also great places to visit. I´m in love with this place :)
Sleepy caribean village, excellent beach, carribean cuisine, and mainly tropí all rainforest full of live arround you. Walk arround beaches to punta mona is something very speciál for nature lovers. Not an easy walk though!
If you go to Manzanillo, it's probably because you've come to Puerto Viejo. Puerto Viejo is filled with nice restaurants and bars, and also with tour operators offering great adventures. Manzanillo is «at the end of the road». A quiet little place, to feel like you're away from the world, for real. The Guandoca Reserve is less visited than Cahuita, the beach is spectacular, and...the Congo Bongo is breathtaking. Less touristy, it's definitely worth the extra road! Book a tour with Tino to see the Reserve, take the boat to see the Dolphins near Punta Mona, try some snorkeling, and take the time to observe the Green Macaws at the Ara project Center.
Beatiful place! It is charm place with lots of things to do. There are different options for good food in beautiful and colorful places. You can rent a bike and use it to go to the different beaches. You have to go to tje Bakery, Selvin and Tamaras. And the most important:the prices are great! Quite different than Guanacaste where everything is very expensive!!
I'm a nature-lover and bird watcher, so this is just one more excellent place in Costa Rica for my passion! The forests of Manzanillo have many birds and other animals and the Ara Project Great Green Macaw reserve is really worth the visit and time. I was also happy with two different birding guides secured while there: Abel Busamonte and Alex with Terraventurra in Puerto Viejo. The Jaguar Rescue Center does great work and was also an interesting visit, though I liked Ara Project better!
