Very peaceful place well kept and just beautiful to look at! The staff was very friendly and helpful, our room (bungalow) was beautiful, the breakfast was exceptional. The garden and pool are great for relaxing, lots of birds. You can walk along the beach to Puerto Viejo (1 hr), the Jaguar Rehab is close by and we found a nice little restaurant (Morian, 10 min walk) close by. We would recommend Lanna Ban to anyone who doesn’t want the hustle and bustle of Puerto Viejo.

The property is brand new, the staff is incredibly amazing and nice, the whole hotel is stunningly clean. The breakfast varies day to day, they always offer some meat (bacon, sausages etc.), granolas or musli with yoghurt and some fruits (of course you can go for eggs, beans and rice). The rooms are exceptional, the whole atmosphere is just pleasant. The beach is 5mins walk away, and in our opinion, Playa Grande is the most beautiful beach in the area.

Wow, wow, and wow everything was wonderful. The location is so great by the beach and the sound of the waves during all day and night is what I was looking for a good relaxation. It's very beautiful and I loved everything about this hotel.

A wonderful place owned by a wonderful family. I highly recommend it. The breakfast is extraordinary, everything from the garden and produced by them. I particularly recommend the safari tents, all wonderful decorated with Italian furniture. A place where I would love to return.

Location was ideal, right on a beautiful beach. The attention to details was so obvious. One of the few hotels of this type where your included breakfast was delivered to your room during your stay. The grounds of the hotel are stunning beautiful, complete with visits from local families of monkeys, sloths and toucan. The staff was really friendly and attentive to our every need. All of the above made for a wonderful stay and visit to the area.

Best place ever.exactly what we wanted. Great place Great gardens close to beach. Have already reserved for next gear highly reccommend. The 535 am howler monkey wake up is something else. Walkable safe.

The property was beautiful and nicely laid out. Loved the many animals, agouti, monkeys, roosters and birds. Loved waking up to the howler monkeys every morning. Great little pool that my granddaughter and I spent hours in. Ocean and beautiful beach just a short 4 minute walk away which we also throughly enjoyed. Yummy breakfast served on our porch every morning. Staff all amazing, friendly and helpful. Wonderful Italian restaurant on premises, one night we ate there and the next night we picked up and enjoyed in our bungalow. Lots of great restaurants in the area as well. Lots of great things to do in the area. We went to Caribean’s Chocolate Tour and it was amazing and we learned so much and got to sample lots of yummy chocolate.
