My stay in Uvita was wonderful because it was October and very quiet. I was lucky to have no rain most days and explored all around the area. I loved playa Hermosa and Bahia Ballena. Whale watching was amazing, however it feels a little intrusive. We were assured that the boats are only allowed to go out certain times in the day and not at all at certain times of the year. The crew is highly qualified, best services. I recommend a lift from the parking lot to the villa, because the last 4 km are very very challenging, even for 4x4. One way downtown per day is free. An extra tour costs 25$. Fascinating view over Uvita and the whaletale beach. Great garden with palms, trees and flowers. From the pool you can watch butterflies and many birds. Rosa was so attentive, the suite was really nicely decorated, new and super clean. The pool area is really cute too. Felt like we had our own little private apartment, as we also had a parking spot. Super close to everything you might need by foot - bakery, restaurants, bar, supermarket…as well as by car to playa Hermosa and the center of Uvita.
