Everything. The hotel is physically beautiful -- an exotic, tropical Oasis of serenity and calm. The individual rooms facing a shimmering pool were so well appointed. It also meant I didn't have to listen to the TV or conversations in the room next door! The bed was extremely comfortable and the waterfall shower soothing. They provided both beach and swimming pool towels. The staff could not be more helpful -- they arranged tours and even escorted me to the location, they arranged a most wonderful massage in my room, and made dinner recommendations every night.

Located at walking distance from Ballena National Park (where the beach is). Condos are gated and feel very private. They are very spacious, super clean and comfortable. A/C provided in both bedrooms. Private parking behind the gate is included. Exceptional customer service! Our flight was canceled and rebooked two days later. Even though we pre-booked the apartment, the staff/owner was very understanding and adjusted the booking to save us paying for those two nights. I have never experienced such a great customer service! Response via the app chat was very quickly everytime. All in all a great place to stay, would definitely recommend it!

Very nice and clean rooms, well equipped outdoor kitchen, great pool! The property has everything you need for a nice stay and is super close to the beautiful Marino Ballena Nationalpark. On top, Scott is the perfect host! He was super attentive, had great recommendations and helped us with everything we needed and more! We would definitely come back :-)

Hermosa Beach is beautiful.

Hermosa Beach is beautiful. You have to pay a small entrance fee, but it’s clean and you can walk to the whales tail. There are bars and restaurants to walk to with a good choice of cuisine. Plenty of supermarkets and fruit shops.

Preferably visit on the whale watching season, and reserve a tour days before so you not lose the chance of this lovely experience, I recommend Bahía Ballena Kayaks & Tours. Beach is beautiful and relaxing, check the tide hours son you can walk to Whale's tale in low tide, and also have like 200 meters of beach to enjoy

Uvita is a great spot for families, not as crowded as Dominical, with plenty of good places to eat. However, some restaurants can be pricey and not worth it. The sea had strong currents, making it dangerous, but there was still plenty of space on the beach

My stay in Uvita was wonderful because it was October and very quiet. I was lucky to have no rain most days and explored all around the area. I loved playa Hermosa and Bahia Ballena. Both places you can walk see endless beach that's almost all to yourself during the fall.

I went to Uvita in Sep because I wanted to see the whale.

I went to Uvita in Sep because I wanted to see the whale. While some other boats did, we didn't get that close to the whale, so the experience was not ideal for me. However, it is an excellent place for surfing, and the tide is perfect.

Uvita was a great surprise.

Uvita was a great surprise. It has a very good vibe and the best waterfalls for us (we love jumping into pools) - El-Pavon and Uvita waterfalls are pearls (and they're almost free which is rare in CR)

Hotel Faremita is a little oasis in Uvita not too far from the national park. It has beautifully designed rooms with comfortable beds and a functional bathroom. Rooms possess a nice big balcony. Tghe property has a beautiful inner courtyard with a pool to refresh yourself. At night, there is nice lightening, so you can still end the day with a dip in the water. We would definitely recommend Faremiti if you wanna stay in a cozy environment in walking distance from Parque La Ballena. We will surely revisit when travelling again to Uvita.

Firstly, this is not a serviced room, more Airbnb style. That said, cabanas are beautifully set up and well equipped. Bed was super comfy. They are very clean and the pool and rancho are lovely. Especially the night time lighting 😜 Mike, the owner, knows all the best beaches, waterfalls and restaurants and is a great host. Close to the centre of Uvita but away from the hussle and bussle. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay in Uvita. Nice, clean apartment with a big room in the middle of uvita. Easy to walk or drive to the Ballena nacional parque or plays as well as access nice bars and restaurants. The pool was very pleasant too. The hotel manager was very kind and accommodating and they also offer a laundry service.

Comfortable bed with a lovely balcony. Fantastic restaurant run by the owners which should not be missed. Montse and Heri were perfect hosts keen to ensure we had the best honeymoon throughout Costa Rica, not just in Uvita (where they booked a wonderful whale watching tour for us)
