Check-in and check-out were dealt with easily. You can check in late in the evening if you want to. You can also pay for the stay in advance and give them the necessary personal information upfront online, which is quite convenient. Český Brod itself is a small city, but it's max a 10 min walk to the train station and you get a train ticket to Prague for €3. It's a 40 minute ride and trains go every 30 minutes. Get yourself the IDOS app to plan the trains/buses/trams you want to take, public transport is very affordable in the larger Prague area. Keep in mind, if you want to pay in cash or specifically get your ticket while being on the train already, you will have to pay in Czech Crowns.

The restaurant on site is Michelin level in my opinion. Traditional Czech food that was super delicious, highly recommend the borscht and pig leg. Also the restaurant is value for money which is unexpected especially in a hotel. The hotel itself has a very nice charm, clean, modern yet authentic Czech. Rooms are cozy and warm, and the bed was super soft and comfortable for sleep. Shower was also spacious and hot. Parking on site with a locked gate at night keeps the cars safe.
