I enjoyed Louny. The architecture is nice.
I enjoyed Louny. The architecture is nice. I went there just to be able to go to concerts in Rakovnik and Smolnice. The trains to get back to the city stop too early I which I had been able to stay longer in Rakovnik. I had to walk to and back from Smolnice because I missed the bus (they don't have a lot), it's doable and the country side scenery was nice. I'm lucky I like walking.Guest review byLindaJapan - 8.0

The main draw to Louny for me is the Zichovec brewery, which I'm a big fan of. That aide, it's a pleasant small Czech town with some pretty architecture, and the walking path with a view of the river and nearby hills is also nice. One can walk in the nearby countryside also. Food wise, we had no problem finding a good meal. Most of all, is quiet and calm, and so a nice escape for those living in a larger city.Guest review byJonathanCzech Republic - 10.0

Louny is old czech city. There is medieval gothic church with accesible tower, museum and interesting Benedict Rejt Modern Art Gallery. There are many cafeteries. I reccomend cheap but very good vegetarian restaurant in baroque hospital. Surroundings offer many sightseeings (castles Nový Hrad-Jimlín, Stekník, Krásný Dvůr, Libochovice, Budyně, mystique menhirs, churches - Panenský Týnec, Dolní Ročov, hills - Raná, Oblík, and especially UNESCO protected region of Žatec with phantastic old synagogue, Meder's House and many monuments connected with traditional hop planting and lager brewing.Guest review byAlexCzech Republic

Check-in took place in the associated restaurant and was quite quick. The double room at the attic was spacious and nicely furnished. There was something romantic about it. It was quiet so far, had a good temperature and had a nice bathroom. I was amazed by the tea from Twining in the room as well as the very good tea for breakfast. The room was big enough, there was refrigerator. The hotel is older and the sofa had crackers, but the room was clean and I liked it. We had a view to the courtyard so it was quiet at night (exept radiator). The hotel doesn't have an elevator. There have been only few options for breakfast but it was enough, there is nice coffee machine.
