I found this place at the last moment while doing a solo bike tour. As I arrived into the town, I opened the app and found this place. It exceeded my expectations by a lot! The pension is quite cute. It is well maintained, with me staying in a renovated room, done very well. The proprietor also runs a restaurant/pub across the street in a relatively quiet neighborhood. As I was famished, I was more than happy to eat at the place rather than venture out elsewhere. The restaurant was great with wonderful prices. I returned to the place the following morning and had a breakfast that came with the one night stay. Note: the place is very secure for those like me concerned about storing their bicycle overnight. Also, the proprietor is charming and kind. He went out of his way to make me feel welcome. Thank you.

With 15 thousand inhabitants, definitely off the beaten path...

With 15 thousand inhabitants, definitely off the beaten path. Has nice bike paths and a water taxi on the Elbe River, but no Uber nor Bolt (as of 2023). There is a lot of history in this town, back to at least 1250. I would not be surprised if Nymburk turned into a tourist destination in the future.

our stay in Nymburk was short and we were there to attend a...

our stay in Nymburk was short and we were there to attend a Showdown tournament. One tip if arriving by train be sure to have 10ckz if you want to use the Loo the attendant does not have any English and does not seem to understand Euros. The only occasion we were not able to either pay in Euros or by bank card. What we saw of Nymburk, the park the Church the City wall the Historic Hydro electric plant ( built 1914 according to our host) all on our walk from the station to the accommodation would tempt us back to have a longer stay to explore and enjoy Nymburk.

Beautiful city, the square was just markets, the walls, good ice cream. Plenty of cycle paths, a beautiful walk along the river, refreshment stands, Rybárna is great. Restaurant U Dřeváka is good in Pilsen, service is worse and unfortunately taxis are not available in Nymburk. There is a children's corner in the restaurant U Dřeváka, great.

I was pleasantly surprised by the city.

I was pleasantly surprised by the city. We originally chose just a nice accommodation for trips to the surrounding area. In the end, we found out that right behind the apartment there is a beautiful park with a promenade for a pleasant walk.

Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms, the planned stroll through the city was not possible. Based on information from the internet, we took a short bike tour through Nymburk the following day. Everyone really enjoyed the many historic buildings. Peter Scheunemann

We visit Nymburk regularly, we like it, it is a beautiful historical town, a beautiful square, lots of shops, restaurants, most of them serve excellent beer, excellent ice cream. There are cycle paths around Nymburk suitable for children - flat terrain (along the Elbe), also suitable for inline skating. Many trips to the surroundings are possible - Poděbrady, Kersko, Sadská lake, Ostrá lake with a craft village.

Nicely situated but has seen better days. Next to a hockey field. The restaurant and beergarden are not suitable for everyone. If you are picky or shy its not for you. Its locas only kinda place, but if you approach it with an open mind they will most likely accept you. The hotel is nice but a very low 3 star. No bar, no brekkie. Get in n out. But for the money, no complaints. Staff in hotel was wonderful and friendly. No credit cards accepted tho. Hard cash only.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and understanding. Any issue could be easily resolved without any problems. The hotel is located in a park, next to a small river, surrounded by incredible nature and a wonderful atmosphere. My stay brought me lots of positive emotions! I definitely recommend this place and will absolutely return.

Probably one if not the best apartment we stayed in, in a long time! Very very clean, cozy and comfortable apartment! Super kind owners! Not exaggerating it‘s fantastic… also very close to Prague and Kutna Hora. Additionally Nymburk is also a very cute town nearby to discover. Thx for everything!

Quaint old building. Painted furniture Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Excellent food and service. The best burgers ever!! Good local beer. Location very central and free on street parking outside the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
