They helped me with early check-in, so I could have a much needed nap, with an extra pillow, help closing the very high bathroom window, help with the timed TV, offered me an umbrella, directed me to an excellent restaurant that provided a take-out meal. They represent your hotel so well! I felt care, support. You hire well! The breakfast was nicely displayed and delicious. The parking was so convenient! Your hotel is an easy walk to Billa and to the town center.

There is a big Billa supermarket right next to the hotel as well as a bus stop and also close to the train station. The hotel is super clean and has everything you need. The breakfast was great and rich. I slept in a twin economy room with a shared bathroom. Linen and towels are included. There is a nice Cafe next to the hotel (Cafe Svet). The staff was amazing, especially Ilona which explained everything to me and was really helpful and kind by arranging taxi for a luggage transfer (I hiked the Luznici valley trail). I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer! Tabor is a cute town.

Czech RepublicThe apartment was incredible. Just as pictured, very close to the historical part of town and easily accessible. The host gives very clear instructions on how to retrieve the key (and should you need assistance, they're always ready for you on their phone with a very pleasant attitude), you then step through the gate and into the actual house. There's no elevator, so if you've got huge luggage, get ready for a workout. I personally don't see this as a con. Depending on the room you get, there either is a microwave or there isn't. If you can't find it, that means you have to go downstairs to the shared room. In this room you'll not only find a microwave, but also a small kitchen, two washing machines and a fridge. The room itself is lovely, it's big enough but also feels very cozy! Expertly cleaned and topped off with a little chocolate bonbon on your pillow. :) In your room you can be sure to find towels, toiletries, extra pillows and complimentary tea bags, water and coffee. One small thing - not sure if it was just our room (n3), but the bathroom door was a little difficult to lock and unlock, but no big deal. All in all, you won't find a better property in Tábor. ♥

The Old Town was really lovely.
The Old Town was really lovely. The large main square had nice buildings around it and the town was pleasant to wander in. There were many little cafes and restaurants.
The walls and towers were interesting to see, and there were fabulous views over the surrounding town.
Accomodation there was not expensive which was a bonus. There were day trips to other sites within reach.

Just an hour by train from Prague, Tabor is an overlooked...
Just an hour by train from Prague, Tabor is an overlooked gem. This medieval town was a base for the famous Hussite general Jan Žižka, a military genius during the Hussite wars (1400s), when Protestant leader Jan Hus and his followers took on the might of the Catholic church. Jan Žižka never lost a battle, despite losing an eye during the war. The town is a walled fortress on a hill with a maze of underground tunnels which has swallowed invading armies. There is also a district of Prague named after Jan Žižka in Prague: Žižkov. See the movie 'Medieval' (Žižka in Czech) for more about this period of Czech history.

We enjoyed wandering around the narrow streets feeling the history of the town as well as the park below, river trail and hanging out around the main square. The Jarmarkt took place during our visit and we saw a much livelier town then than the two days previously.
The number and variety of restaurants is reasonable for a 3 to 4 night stay but we found two delightful cafes that we fell in love with - Cafe Budik and Cafe Zastavka - both serve delicious coffee and the atmosphere is perfect.
We were disappointed not to be able to try the pivovar - the opening hours are weekdays and during the daytime.

Most of the buildings and public places are in a good shape, only railway station and its surroundings feel a bit less secure and more messy. Nature and town landscapes available, many museums, restaurants of various price and style. Public transport... Very well surprise. And the old streets in the historical center, with almost no 90 degrees angle, are very lovely.

A beautiful historic town.
A beautiful historic town. There is a bustling square and a myriad of narrow cobbled streets with a selection of local shops. There is a pleasant walk down to a small stream, then you can walk back up the the town. Great atmosphere. In summer it is great to grab a beer or wine and sit on one of the benches in the square and enjoy the atmosphere.

Very suprised. Tabor is nice,very historic and clean town. Beautiful cafeterias and restaurants everywere,or little shops. Good for families,or people who just want to relax,take a walk and enjoy. There is also a zoo and botanical garden. I wish to come back in summer.

The apartment is recently renovated and very well-equipped. The location is one the best available in Tábor, right on the corner of the main square. The surrounding streets are pedestrianised, so while the area is lively it isn't too noisy. The rooms are bright and spacious with nice decorative touches (the wooden boat model on wheels by the door was a favourite). There is a fully equipped modern kitchen and even a washing machine. We had apartment B, which has windows looking down pretty Pražska Street.

The location, right on the main pedestrian street, close to Zizka Square, the hard of Tabor. The house, Starek House, historical one, built back in 17th century. The wonderful dorm room. The atmosphere. The work done by Viktoria. The very correct price: 16,11 EUR, including all taxes for a bed in the dorm.
Everything is clean. The place is quiet. The check in system is a modern one.

We enjoyed the luxury of the big room with the freestanding bathtub very much, what a treat!! The room is very tastefully designed, and we felt at home. The view to the pedestrian street is really nice, the main square is around the corner. The hotel is totally centrally located. We enjoyed breakfast a lot, it was diverse and super tasty.
