It's easy to walk around in the city centre because there is a car free zone and speed restrictions. The Greek restaurant Zunftstuben Poseidon is very good value for money https://poseidon-mgh.de/ plus all the local bakeries and cafes offer great food. It's a good base to explore the area by car, bike or train. The local wildlife park is interesting for adults as well as children and provides many play activities https://www.wildtierpark.de/. The staff spoke perfect English and were very approachable and friendly. The room was very spacious with a nice balcony that was perfect for taking a nice rest. The breakfast area was very big and spacious and was never too crowded. The big glass windows were ideal for gazing out as I was eating.
