The staff was soo friendly and helpful. They made the check in very easy. They showed us personally to our suite and gave us directions and recommendations of where to eat and sightsee. The room was clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. It truly exceeded out expectations.

We've been to around 10 hotels/accommodations in Ahrtal and this is the best hotel so far. Staff were friendly, room was exceptional and larger than other hotels, breakfast was worth the price they charge. They offer refreshing prosecco, local cheeses, different eggs, and good quality bread and cakes!

I booked the property because I red amazing reviews. And all of them were 100% correct. Spotless clean, friendly owner Samit answered all our questions about the sightseeings we had. Very delicious breakfast. Excellent location. If you are wondering where to have dinner after a long day of sightseeing I suggest go to DUYKANO kebab. Literally 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Huge menu,plenty of choice. Ask the owner for directions. Very near ,like 5 minutes walk to KURPARK where you can get the small train and to visit Ahrweiler. I do recommend it.     We walked the route - Rotweinwanderweg -it was spectacular and we had lovely lunch at Marienthal. Make sure where to catch the bus back. There is no indications in Dernau and the train does not operate --railway is under construction. Bad Neueahr is easy to walk around.

    Cute old town centre that gets plenty of visitors on the weekends but not too crowded. There's a variety of nice restaurants in the area and places to try the local wines. We went here specifically to hike and you can walk straight to a number of scenic hiking routes on either side of the valley, no need to take a bus or drive anywhere, which was a huge plus.

    We prefer Bad Neuenahr to Ahrweiler, as Ahrweiler is the old historic part and gets very busy with tourists. Bad Neuenahr is more modern with river and cycling routes, also many places to eat and drink. we know it so well as we have been going for about 10 years!
