Bad Saarow is a lovingly designed health resort with many small shops, restaurants, bars, a small cinema, a wonderful bathing beach with a beach bar, a boat harbor and very nice people. The area is ideal for relaxing, hiking, swimming, boating and unwinding.

Close to but away from the shore of a large lake in a small hamlet of houses, there is a boat cruise available on the lake and the walks are quiet soothing. It is a very rural setting but in no way isolated. A quiet location and the food at the hotel was second to none.

Splendid town, well kept with trees and shrubs everywhere, The marina is very nice and a boat trip down the lake is a must. There are many nice places to eat, our favourite probably the Peschutte next to the Esplanade Hotel. If you like swimming etc, Saarow Therm is another must visit. All in all a wonderful place to be. We know as we've stayed here over thirty times!

A small town near Berlin, that can be reached via public transport within 1 hour. A very relaxing place with a beautiful lake. There is a pretty large hospital in the city and a lot of people come there for the medical treatment.

The best about the place is the nature and the Infrastructures. The worst would be the communication with staff, the accessibility and the feeling you get from being just another tourist...sadly, the tourism info point in the village as the reception personnel have no idea how to feel welcome outsiders. We asked for a cafe close by and it was told there are none but there were actually two. The one in the compound, unreasonably closed in such a time, the other from the competition just a few meters ahead. Also, as paying for Person two euros a day for a tax to help maintain the natural resources and help out the region is a bit two much when you realize around that you actually need a car to get around because public transport doesn’t meet the expectations - the reception told us to google the info because they have none-or just because no one rents bikes because it is cold. They need to work out the mentality if charging so high. As we reach the compound, we had to wait 40 m in the bad weather waiting in a line for a check in where other families with pets and children also waited and still there was a lounge cafe attached to the reception with the Christmas lights on but closed instead of serving the purpose of having the guests a welcome place with the fireplace on.
