Exceptionally clean, not only were the rooms clean but the whole hotel was amazingly taken care of. We stayed with my family and we enjoyed it. I travel a lot and this is one of my favorite hotels on my list of stays. Good job done!

The hotel is situated in a historic part of town. Lovely building with character and charm, but also feeling modern and comfortable. My only slight disappointment was the clingy shower curtain in the bathroom. This would have been so much better with a door or screen. The water pressure in the shower was so good, that it powered onto the curtain and even allowed water through as it blasted the curtain out of the way. Otherwise, breakfast was ample and fresh. Staff were all lovely, helpful and cheerful. Recommended.

One of the rare Hotels these days in which the traveller and customer is treated well, meaning staff on the front desk, the bar, or at breakfast takes some time to look up to the customer, recognises him or her, looks in the eyes, takes even a moment to do a little smalltalk, where service is not just only a job for them. Rare to find these days, especially in Germany and with people of the younger generations working in the service business of any kind or rating. I really loved that in this Hotel here in walking distance 300 metres ish from downtown Braunschweig in Lower Saxony. Nothing either to complain about the facilities. I for sure will return when in the area.

Herrn Trumpp greated us in English much to our surprise. He grew up near an American base, and as a child spent some time with the local soldiers there. The property is very well run, and the room we had with the balcony was perfect for us.

This charming apartment in the old town was absolutely lovely. It was airy, roomy, comfortable, and spotless. The owner was very helpful with suggestions and directions. She was very thoughtful in giving us a room that accommodated my mother. Everything we wanted to see was in easy walking distance. We would definitely return here on another visit.

Beautiful old hotel, carefully preserved but also made very comfortable and with modern amenities. I loved the lion statues outside. It was a privilege to walk up the wide classic divided staircase (lift available) and in the spacious halls.
