A must-visit place, recommended for all seasons as each carry a different beauty and personality of Chiemsee and its surrounding locations. Take the boat and enjoy the ride to each Island. Walk around Fraueninsel, have a meal at Herreninsel after visiting the Castle. Walk to the water in the summer. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to! Breakfast had a good choice of different foods and was tasty, the outdoor terrace has a lovely view. Also loved their a la cart menu. We had dinner there and it was delicious (compliments to the chef). Loved the overall vibe of the hotel and friendly staff. Special thanks and kudos go to the staff, they proactively helped us when we got caught in a storm.
