The breakfast at Motel One is excellent and offers so many choices for vegans (which was wonderful for three of our family members). The food and coffee are excellent and the service at breakfast is wonderful. Michelle, who supervises the breakfast area, made us feel so welcome! We loved chatting with her in the morning and gave her a big hug on our last day. The staff is exceptional at this hotel.

We almost don't want to leave. Me and my friends enjoyed the pool and the spa. Just one thing - the curtain on my room has damage and cannot be closed off completely, so i woke up because the light was hitting my face. Besides that, i can't think of anything negative. Hope to be back soon!

This hotel has really exceeded my expectations. There are many reasons for that, but the two key elements are the extraordinary hospital, friendly and forthcoming staff and the location of the hotel, which is in the very center of the city, right in the heart of the pedestrian zone, but also a short 5-minute walk to a major public transport hub. The hotel stay includes having an a la cart breakfast in the next-door cafe, which serves excellent food and great coffee. The rooms are very small, but that said surprisingly functional and comfortable.

Very spacious room and bathroom with floor heating and garden view and little terrace. The bed was comfy, the wifi excellent, breakfast was tasty and the staff was very helpful. You can borrow a yoga mat at the reception and there is a nice and warm swimming pool. The location is perfect, quiet, very close to hauptbanhof. Definitely the place to go when in Bonn.

To be mentioned also, the Poppelsdorf Schloss and its wonderful restaurant situated within the Botanical Garden, the Poppelsdorfer Allee and the beautiful Rhine promenade in easy reach.

    Having worked in Bonn for many months in the past, its always lovely to come back to this lovely city! Many local attractions, bars and restaurants within walking distance - I recommend Brauhaus Bonnsch. Alte Zoll (riverside bier garden) and the bars and restaurants near Paulaner.

    We used Bonn as a base to discover the region during Christmas holiday. The Christmas market in Bonn is the most beautiful I have seen. The city itself does not have a lot of sights but is very pleasant with many shops, cafes and restaurants. Make this your base for visits to Cologne and Koblenz.

    Know the town for 30 years - it has dramatically become worser during the last 3-4 years. Dirty, unsecure, bad traffic-connections - you see a down going down! And the people are more and more unfriendly, stressed, depressive - it is a pity, what happens with Bonn.

    We only spent a day in Bonn and we would like to return for exploring the city and the center a bit more. We were positively surprised by the long paths along the river that allow to walk or run for hours.

    Lovely hotel, located right on the Rhine river bank. A couple of restaurants close by. Tram station is 10min walk to get back to Bonn central. Rooms were clean and spacious. Cigar lounge is very good and the only hotel in Bonn that has one (as far as I know).
