Great location near Flixbus. Very helpful staff; they had no problem with my storing and eventually packing up my folding bike in the dorm. Elevator a bit clunky but heck, it's big and it works!

Nothing really goes on in this little town. The bad things are there is no Uber. And, public transportation is easy only if you know how to use the stupid ticket machine to buy a ticket. I was in Berlin two days ago, where I only had to tap my credit card.

Darmstadt is a great location as it sits on two main autobahns, so getting anywhere in Germany is easy. Especially in Hessen. Its a big enough town to have all the conveniences, shops , restaurants etc.

Lots of greenery, caffes and restaurants, historic center (Jugendstill), commercial center, business center - head quater of international orgqanisations. Good connection to Frankfurt airport (airbus) and other historic cities (Heidelberg, Mainz - train). I just like it.

I love the mix of old and new in the city. You have the shopping center and many more stores and restaurants all around the city that you need a couple of days just to look through those. But then you also have the castle, the gardens, the theaters, and the museum.

In the last 7 days, we have stayed in 6 different hotels. The premier was the best out of 6 hotels. We are just happy at the end. The bar was open and it is a nice and relaxing place to hang out or read a book. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly. We liked the breakfast items. Can be improved 😉: A separate bicycle parking place inside the parking house.

I also like the self check-in system outside the hotel, really technologically advanced! The freshly made breakfast in the morning is also a plus!
