The place is beautiful. The owners were exceptionally nice and adapted to our schedules in a very flexible and friendly manner. The breakfast was not served in a buffet-style but was prepared according to our needs just for our table, which I loved very much. We ate breakfast and dinner there and liked the food very much. I would definitely go back.

The location was in the centre of Torgau and, although I arrived minutes after check in closed, Kristin couldn't have been more accommodating and polite, a genuinely very nice lady who not only gave me a great recommendation for a lovely little restaurant as well, she gave the hotel her personality which is something that I don't find in cities. This, as Kristen said, was the best that the GDR had to offer. Well, it was all I needed. Well located, a comfortable bed, hot shower and quiet. It is basic, but, I wasn't looking for anything else.
