Of course the lake opposite the hotel is beautiful and a wonderful place to walk around or just sit and enjoy. The breakfast as well as the other food in the location was exceptional. The hotel itself is very modern and has a stylish interior. There is everything you need in your room. The staff was exceptionally friendly, in the hotel Köhlerei am See as well as in the partner hotel.

Breakfast - breakfast incredible with cakes and also cooking options, everything delicious, good cakes. lunch - also the lunch option, they advertise as a "small lunch option" but actually the food is generous and really good, so after the huge breakfast you dont need actually have lunch and they offer cakes until 15:00, so you can lunch and have a afternoon cake dinner - The dinner you must reserve and pay but the price is awesome , the food was really good for the price so my suggestion is to reserve the dinner as soon as possible, spa / wellness - really good also , I only used the included in price options and they were more than enough, gym, indoor pool, outdoor pool, lounges. kids - they prepare the room for kids and also even without kids you cant hear them from other rooms, the spa and wellness areas you can stay without children. the hotel is family friendly and the region has some good options for indoor / outdoor playgrounds electric car - they have plenty charging places , and the price of kwh cheaper than the local public charging points. - at the time of my visit the public charging was 70cents / kwh, at the hotel it was 50 cents / kwh. so its really comfortable to stay in a hotel in the winter at hills with the option to charge the car. -- I charged at 11kw speed, but I believe the charging spot goes to 22kwh speed. so overnight is enough to charge the car 100%

The host was flexible as per our requirements and ensured that we had a comfortable. Room was spacious with a great view. Centrally located. And the host even recommended a nice viewpoint nearby. Restaurant had a great menu. Altogether we had a comfortable stay.

On our first night, we arrived just when the kitchen had closed for dinner....the wonderful host still set our table and provided a wonderful, full dinner for us! They even noticed that my girlfriend and I liked to sit next to each other instead of across from each other during meals, so every time we came down for breakfast or dinner, the hosts had our table set up in that special configuration! Very kind and attentive people. They also were very accommodating with parking our two vehicles, even giving up the Staff parking to us for the first evening. When we opened our room for the first time, we found that the staff had set up a cute area for our dog, complete with a full water bowl and complimentary dog food! The entire staff ensured we all felt very welcome in their beautiful lodge!

    Feldberg is a beautiful town and when there is snow, it most definately would be a nice ski-resort. However, we forgot to order the snow 😉. Better luck next time 😊 However Titisee and Schluchsee a nearby if you want to make an excursion. Even so, we enjoyed our stay in Feldberg.

    The hotel was in great location but the other parameters...

    The hotel was in great location but the other parameters were bad - the service was bad ' the staff were not nice and not ready to help , the breakfast was very poor - we were exttremely dissapointed of this hotel as it had great recommendations which turned our not to be true !!! Feldberg as a town was not an interesting place and there was nothing there to see or do - maybe for children but not for couples !!!

    -Views from the apartment were sublime -Underfloor heating works very well - apartment is always warm and cozy -Apartment was recently refurbished and is very modern -Washer and Dryer included in apartment which was a massive bonus for a week's stay -Bus stop to Feldberg ski resort only a short walk from apartment

    We slept here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were very clean and spacious and had a lovely balcony with the beautiful and green black forest view. It is a quiet little family hotel. The staff is kind and helpful. And the food at the restaurant is very tasty.
