Mecure never disapoints. You can always count on great service, good quality rooms and helpful staff. The Beds are always comfortable and the rooms are very clean. This hotel was no exception and although my stay was short, it reaffirmed my preference for mecure hotels in Europe It was great. Breakfast was lovely too and the staff did a great job of looking after everyones needs, especially a mum alone with her two kids. They bent over backwards to help her. It was good to see that kind of kindness in a busy hotel setting.

FAQs about hotels in Frankfurt/Main

The Beating Heart of Europe

Located near central Germany, Frankfurt is not simply the beating heart of the country. It’s also the lifeblood of the European Union.

The German Federal Bank and the European Central Bank are based here, so naturally this is a city where commerce thrives. In fact, the skyline is so punctuated by skyscrapers that Frankfurt is affectionately known as Mainhattan, a pun on the River Main that slowly meanders through the city.

Lining its banks is Museumsufer, a district comprising over 20 museums including Goethe’s birthplace and the Frankfurt Historical Museum. Impressive views of all of this can be enjoyed from the tower of Gothic-style Frankfurt Cathedral which played an important role in the Holy Roman Empire.

In the shadow of the modernist architecture remain traces of quintessential Germany. The reconstructed half-timbered facades in Römer square are picture perfect, and the cobbled streets of Fressgass are always full of locals deciding which café to dine at.

Served by Frankfurt Airport - one of the world’s busiest - this pumping city is always on the move. This means that hotels in Frankfurt gets booked up pretty quickly, so book early with Booking.com to secure the accommodation of your choice.

Christmas markets are definitely a must see! There are many of them and they contain all sorts of stuff, from decorations, to food and sweets. Best mulled wine I had. Walking distance to everywhere that needs seeing. We enjoyed the architecture, the people are nice and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing.

Frankfurt is a large city, with all the facilities one would expect. I was there on business and didn't have much time to take advantage of all the museums, concert halls and galleries available, but I did visit the Christmas Market, which was enjoyable and fun.

Suprisingly busy for a non touristic area. I spent only one day in Frankfurt and the other days I went to Mainz (40 min by train), Hiedelberg. You can easily commute to different town / cities by trains or Flixbus or Flixtrain. there are few nice museums as well. The old Frankfurt is cute. Plenty fo spaces to walk alog the river.

We have been traveling to Frankfurt several times over the years. Always for work but we always take time to explore parts of the city that has a lot to offer. Busy, charming and modern downtown combination of buildings and people. A lot of coffee shops outside, great to just sit and watch the people passing by. ZOO is great- in the middle of city - highly suggest to visit.

I was there for only one night, so was a very fleeting visit . I did a walking tour around the centre (took about an hour and a half) and went up the Main Tower, then visited the Städel museum the next morning. The city is great, but I'd be cautious of the Red Light District, especially if you're travelling solo. I didn't get anything worse than a couple of stares, but I didn't feel safe walking around that area past dark.

This hotel is very close to Frankfurt airport. You can get shuttle bus from airport to Hotel. Shuttle bus from airport to hotel is free of charge. There is train station near Hotel, so you can take a train to Frankfurt center, very easy. Breakfast was good, and service overall very good. If you like spotting airplanes, you can see landing airplanes directly from hotel area. I spotted plenty of planes directly from my hotel room. It was really great fun. There is also supermarket + cafes and restaurants in walking distance from hotel.

The hotel is really nice, all you need for a comfortable stay in Frankfurt. It is a little bit far for walking to the city-center, but the U-station is just a 2 minutes walk from the hotel and it is really easy to reach the city center or the main station in just one ride - you don't need to change the U lines. It takes around 20-30 mins or less. The hotel was really clean, located in nice and peaceful neighborhood and there is a shopping mall nearby, less than 20 mins walk. Also, there was a great delicious offer for a breakfast.

This is a great location if one needs to be near the airport. There is a small grocery store just behind the hotel and a couple of restaurants nearby. The room was very large, and clean. Check-in is done seamlessly through an online system. I booked for two nights, but we were getting into Frankfurt in the very early morning. I contacted the staff to let them know that we would not be checking in until very late/early (so that they did not give our room away). Received a courteous and quick response.

Staff accomodated my change request that they didnt have to! everyone was nice and pleasant. Many hotels in Frankfurt are near the trainstation which is very dodgy - this one is close to botanical garden, with straight way to city centre and not dodgy at all! Bed was so comfortable that after the day of sightseeing I would just fall asleep way ahead of time, like 8 in the evening. Bathroom was clean. It is an overall great hotel, with amazing location and old school charm!

Very nice hotel. It provides the opportunity for an easy self check-in process. Also, there is a self-service mini market in the hotel, which works 24/7. The breakfast was very good. I especially recommend this hotel if you travel to Frankfurt to participate in the marathon as the hotel is about a 1km walk from the start and finish lines. Also, it is right in front of the main railway station, so there are easy connections to other cities and the airport.

Location. Almost all hotels in Frankfurt are near the Frankfurt station. It's not so safe. This place is silent and safe. It's kind of hard to reach this hotel by foot if you have some suitcases. But you can walk from the city center or take a taxi. Staff was kind. Room is fine for this price. Clean and enough size to open suitcase.

The hotel has a good location, in a safe and pleasant area. There is a metro station very close (3 minutes) that gives access to the city center, the central station and, still (bonus), the airport with a single line. It is also possible to walk to the old town (about 30 minutes). Breakfast is very good with many food options.
