Very nice staff, good breakfast and very comfortable bed. The room was very spacious with an extra sofa so I had no problem. If you like tracking that is the perfect area for you. Also what was good was that the hotel is about 1 hour drive from Hannover so instead of staying in traffic you can see some nice views.

lots of hiking, lovely mountain and kids' areas. if you came here for a Harz vacation, Wernigerode and other cities are farther than you think (mountain roads, sometimes it can take 1+hours to get places).

Its a small village for the tourist.
Its a small village for the tourist. Great for walking and cycling. Winter or Summer. Its your choice. The area was quite when I was there. This is perfect for who I am. There are lots of amenities to choose from. Its also perfect just for small walks. One can also based themselves from here and see and explore the surrounding area

A nice little village with lots of walking possibilities which are well signposted. It has a good Bus connection to Goslar but it was nice to stay in a quieter location. A trip up the Bocksberg is a must and there is an historical old wooden church which is worth a visit.

Good place to relax and spend time hiking or biking the trails. Shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance from most of the hotels. The downside is that there is no grocery store in town and several shops heart of town were out of business.

very clean and new bathroom, nice to have a balcony, swimming pool in the basement and a good bed. Although it is not a new hotel, it is well maintained. The hotel seems like a good hotel to relax. i had a nice 5km run (up and downhill) in the pretty area. The room is neat and tidy. Lots of cabinets to store stuff.

We enjoyed our short stay here. Food was okay, not great. We even went for a dip in the pool (temperature was announced as "almost 20 degrees). The best thing about the hotel is the location. Just in the middle of the snowy landscape!
