Lovely place and hosts. They provide binders full of local information in German and English. The apartment is quite large and has everything a family needs. The kitchen was the best-equipped kitchen of any rental I’ve encountered…bread slicer, egg cooker, electric kettle, toaster…all the little extras. Our kids adored their upstairs bedroom with the little balcony. Although you are farther away from the main towns, you are right on the Malerweg and some very nice places to explore in the woods. We had a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was simple, like most continental breakfasts in Europe. Nothing special but nice enough. We ate dinner there every night, and everything was fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the house-made hazelnut schnapps. I wish I could have bought a bottle. It is 150 meters from the small village center. We had nice drinks and cakes there.

I loved how the property was tucked into the woods. The staff were amazing. We arrived early and rang the bell. Luckily they answered and let us store our bags in the lobby area. The receptionists were personable, helpful, and kind. Our room was perfect for three people and used the pull out couch for one of us. It was comfortable. The sauna was a bonus! We enjoyed the open kitchen and honor system for drinks. I would stay here again.

The property is right next to a very large park, which was fantastic because we brought our puppy with us! The breakfast fantastic and we also ate dinner in the restaurant attached to the hotel one night and it was also very very good! The staff were very helpful and sweet.
